Yeah i've done that for the past month and we go in circles, my account broke T&C's by the transferring of all my content, spent $600 been with EA over 10yrs first yr on Ultimate team and account was breached all content removed and for the last month EA says you broke T&Cs so we aren't helping, xbox willing to offer a refund not only on EAFC but all the other EA titles I have because even they know EA is being disgraceful.
Apex legends tournament held in private because of hackers, Multiple sponsored EA streamers have gone through exactly what I have this year but because they stream they get their stuff back in a few hours where as i get told im a dirty cheater (on a 13 yr old account with perfect hisotry) so i get nothing and get told to go away.
Will be reporting EA to Consumer affairs under Personal data concerns and unable to obtain refunds.
Microsoft should be able to refund all of the points too if they are refunding you the game based on that.

Why can't EA return the content? Their games are a mess at the moment, go on the Apex forums everyone is missing content and they can't even hold the tournaments live anyone because of hackers. Gross company when a user of 12+ years ask for stolen content to be returned and they say "nah you broke T&Cs you get nothing"
Even xbox knows EA is going bad with consumer practices at the moment because not only are they willing to offer me a refund on all EAFC purchases even though it's well pass the refund date, they're getting back to me to see if i can refund all EA content on the life of the account because when Xbox did a data check they said something fishy was going on because 2 weeks of data was deleted on the account(login and person data) and only EA should have the power to do that and they're not allowed to do that.
All this and EA still after a month all they say is we will hand this issue over to another team and NOTHING gets done.
Did you buy it from ea or through the Microsoft store? If they are honoring the refund of the game they should for the content too.
Microsoft are going to great lengths to try and make things right i feel they are going above and beyond to try and help me, before i proceed with the generous refund they are willing to offer on behalf of EA i want to see if EA will have any sort of decency to return the stolen content, as the gambling mechanics in this game you buy packs to GAMBLE to get the players you want, xbox will return all money on the gambling packs i bought but unfortunately can not restore specific content like the players on the account that were stolen only EA can but for some reason they won't show any good faith to a customer who has NEVER been sanctioned/banned.
Im reporting EA to consumer affairs because of their disgusting gross behavior, I reported my account hacked and during that same session that sanactioned my account for breaking terms when the terms were broken by the hacker not me and the terms broken did not benefit me in anyway as i lost $600+ of digital content, I feel like EA just put the sanaction they're as a way to deny me of my content being returned.
