I have the exact same issue as you now with a Peps Legacy Bompastor.
I have to either lose an Evo I've payed for to open packs or just not open packs at all till a fix, what a joke.....
I have a Darwin Nunez I tried to evo, sent the 86 in a SBC and the EVO i used doesn't expire for 21 days... I likely won't be able to open packs for team of the year since it expires after. EA support has not been able to help the 4 times ive reached out to someone and I'm really disappointed I won't be able to open the hundreds of packs i had ALREADY saved...

tell me about it, I have 200 packs saved, got about 30k points on the account and I can't even use them for the best time of the year for playing this game. Either something needs to be done beforehand or I want a refund. I hope everyone has gone to the contact about this, maybe if there is a great number of people who complain this might potentially get fixed but its EA they would not bother about getting this sorted anytime soon.

Same bro, I have 600 packs and 20k points cannot be used. I reckon for EA , they don’t care as they already got the money

They don’t care evidently, this has been going on since September and they don’t seem to be interested in issuing refunds either…

Has anyone tested if it could work to create a new duplicate of the Evo? I guess the issue is that you want to switch your unassigned Evo with a duplicate evo in your club, but no duplicate is found. I am unable to test this since none of the current evo's fit for my duplicate player. But i am interested if this could work. So if anyone out there has a possible evo that could fit with the base version of their unassigned Evo player; try to buy the base player and assign him for the Evo. Perhaps you could then switch this new version of the Evo player with the unassigned one in the companion app? And then quicksell the one you don't need to keep. Not sure if you would need to complete the new Evo before doing the quick sell or not...

No you can’t do it, I have Lisandro martinez for Patrick who and tested to see if I could do that but it says you already have an evolution version of this player

Ah, that sucks.. Even if you don't have a Lisandro Martinez Evo in your club, only unassigned? Thanks anyways

Guys I just had a chat about the evo being stuck in the unassigned pile, and ea said it will take 4 to 6 hours to fix as they are currently working on it, I have put a screenshot below!

I’ve had all the same issues,
I did an Evo ages ago, wasn’t good, discarded for a new one.
Started new one.
Recovered old for SBC.
Now my new one is stuck, will I be able to discard this when the evo ends? I have no other version of this player in my club?
if anyone sees this and does have a reply or knows please tell me what happens, thank you.

It’s not an active evo though here? Like there’s no little circle in the corner is that okay? Luckily it ends at sunday 6pm so I should be okay hopefully.

Honestly mate I don’t think you can keep it now? I’m just hoping and praying I can discard mine on Sunday when the evo ends, if anyone else can confirm they were able to discard that would be appreciated too.

Hey @EA_Pulsar, i wanted to know if you have any Updates in this topic. Im currently affected by this bug as my Socrates is stuck because of the Icon Evolution. If i let this Evo expire (to discard him) i will lose more than 450000 coins and i cant open my saved Packs during Toty. And i still have no Evo Socrates (Socrates is my Club Legend). I would be happy to get some information, as this problem is known since September
- 2 years ago@v1Bongo It’s not fair because I have and many of the community can’t open our packs for TOTY. I have over 100 packs saved and I can’t open it for another 13 days. I cant believe ea live chat keep saying the same things ‘our team is fixing on it whilst we speak.’

we and everyone who see's this I think needs to spam this forom and HQ to an astronomical amount of replies and posts. Its growing a lot and affecting more players with the more evo's that have come out over the past two weeks, and I think the best chance we got to have this fixed during TOTY is to spam this post with THOUSANDS of posts and replies.
It is embarissing- I know I'm not the only one that has thousands of fifa points and hundreds of packs saved for this week, and I have an evo that doesn't expire for 20 days...
PLEASE CONTINUE TO POST IN THIS DAILY, EVEN HOURLY IF YOU SEE THIS AND WANT TO HAVE THE BEST CHANCE TO HAVE THIS FIXED!!!

"Waitng for the evo to expire" is an unacceptable response from a company as big as EA, and we need to stress to them how unacceptable this is to us. The more replies and mroe views this unacceptable issue gets, the more likely they are to respond to it.
This issue has been ongoing since September. As much as we complained last year about the slow compensation, this issue is WAY worse and something that should have definatlely been resolved by now. Imagine if a streamer or pro player had this issue in September....
