Fix the gameplay, don’t ask on twitter for feedback when you’ve been getting it for months on here but think you’re above criticism for a game that is broken from top to bottom and if it’s not broken...

@StuBoy1984 While I do agree that there are some flaws in the gameplay, it doesn't seem to be as bad as people are making it out for me.
The biggest issue here though is, there is not, in any circumstance, a time where everyone can agree on how good or bad the gamepley is.
I've had patches where I was genuinely enjoying the gameplay while everyone else was hating it. Then, other times where they were loving it and I was hating it. It's a really weird situation of the pros complain about one thing, those under them complain about another thing, average players complain about another thing, and then lastly the noobs complain about something else; all the issues being completely contradictory from one another and or a different issue not being experienced by the different demographics. And, it sucks!
I don't know if we will ever have a time now where everyone is happy, because everyone experiences the game differently depending on their skill and or connection to the servers.

@Izzy_FUT_Dubs I’m not talking about gameplay being enjoyable I’m talking about it being unplayable, passing does nothing, ai players on my team tackling me, goalkeepers unable to hold onto the ball ever, players falling over nothing, players actually running like they’re running through quicksand, at no point has this game been enjoyable and I’m still waiting for someone that works for EA to provide an answer on the official answers forums but 6 months of asking the same question just shows that customer service isn’t a thing with EA
Like others said there is problems with gameplay but if your game is unplayable that sounds more like you are having connection issues as very few people experience that.
You should try the connection faq. You can also run the game with the input overlay on as they will explain more to you.
since so few have issues like that it’s likely and isp issue or your connection. Ea has already said they will look into it if more show examples will link below. Sadly so few have reported it not much ea can do.
You can always ask for a refund too if you want.

- @StuBoy1984 The game is fine for me (meaning it's playable), perhaps you have a connection issue. Are you playing on wifi?
- @StuBoy1984 Story of my life playing in good connections. I have to keep restarting the fc24 app or console praying it will get better.
- @BanesSolace I am so tired of doing that. Each start gives me a bad random with the only constant being player movement or ball control staying weird.
What annoys me is checking match history and CQR says "great"!
My gameplay is so delayed whats going on? I have a visual overlay on my screen at all times and theres a split second delay at all times. Even though I have low ping. Whats going on and what causes this?

I literally just lost a game because the opponent did the slowest chip shot in history, something glaciers would move faster then, and my keeper (controlled by the AI) just stood there and watched, slowly turning around to follow the ball as it went over her before slowly walking towards the ball as it trickled into the net
Complete and total cheating by the AI- @sniperfox29 What's your team looking like? Perhaps I can assist you in building a more enjoyable team. This year, I think it really does matter who you're using compared to previous years.

A Sunday league keeper would be fired for conceding the goal a did, it was completely idiotic AI to blame and nothing to do with my max chemistry 89 rated WSL team.
Stop making excuses for bad AI, especially as the AI itself completely ignores having 0 chemistry and will knock the ball around at 200 times the speed of light with pin point accuracy like prime Spain before blazing over from 2 yards because that's how that game works.
- @Izzy_FUT_Dubs For me the biggest isseu is the responsiveness of the players. The input lag and players taking extra touches or heavy touches even when you are not sprinting is what makes me log out and play on a different time. Its the inconsistency of how players react. Sharp turns are essential when you move up higher in divisions yet the most agile players sometimes move slow and sluggish wich makes it impossible to rely on when spaces are rare on the pitch and your opponent is skilled in cutting passing lanes and defending.
My question is what can be done to get the best gameplay if your internet connection is not the issue.- @Starscreamdali I've definitely felt that before and you're right, my brother's and I usually log off if the gameplay / responsiveness is really bad.
I would say, what you're doing is the right call.
If the game is not fun, take a break. Go play something else. The responsiveness issues is not something that we can fix on our ends but instead something EA needs to fix.
team totally useless in Friendlies. 10 games played won 1 and no chance in any game tbh. Funny how the opponents always seem to press intercept every pass and when u tackle get it in the box back. Too add to it all Packing NOTHING at all. Funny how 50 Specials are in pack yet no icon no high tier player been liek this for MONTHS.
Fix the game play and at least give us a few good palyers mannnnn

- @Conkers2005 Friendlies without restrictions are pointless, they're just rivals where people put out their best overpowered teams and try to get the opposition to quit as quickly as possible.

Is there a glitch right now for tactics/ Because every single game I've played today my player switch is slow, then player responding to inputs is delayed too. Opponents just running through me like I'm not there and they are playing like they know I can't do anything too. They seem to have constant pressure on at all times through the game.
- @Conkers2005 I've been complaining about the pack weight recently, I've been getting straight poop. Did the Icon pp's and got absolutely destroyed. In all 3 instances having been low cost WW players ;(

Because the game is VERY inconsistent. Some days I stand in front of a player for a tackle, I get a tackle. Some days there’s a delay and the player dribbles past me. Some days I get the tackle but it magically bounces to the foot of another player. This is just one example.- @scumbagshawty And not just that example. It’s inconsistent with speed, passing, etc.
@scumbagshawty Couldn't agree more about inconsistent gameplay. Last weekend I managed 15 wins in the WL but the gameplay felt smooth and responsive, this weekend I got 17 wins but the gameplay was absolute garbage. The number of times i was one on one and pressed to shoot and absolutely nothing happened. Got passes going all over the place, players who are normally beasts with dribbling now all of a sudden can't control the ball, left stick dribbling non-existent, players not jumping for headers, every tackle bouncing back to the opponent etc...
I got MORE wins this weekend but had less fun playing. I don't understand how they've managed to create a game where the gameplay is completely different every weekend and I think that's why people are so angry this year. You can't get any kind of rhythm going at all this year
This game is the worst trash in sportsgame history. i never "played", in fact its more a "watching what stupid, unrealistic, not by yourself intended bullcrap happens next" show.
You have zero control over anything in this game. its massively AI and animations infested. You have to get lucky in every move you make to not get the most stupid animation you will have ever seen and you player is trapped in.
after half a year in as a "full version", the game still freezes or crashes on several occasions.
the game is so bad, its ridiculous.
in a normal world, i guess EA Sports would have several big lawsuits against them.
in a normal world everyone who works on this "project" would get fired for complete failure.
the next version should be called "Delay GlitchC" this would be 100% more accurate.
The game play has improved since release but yes, there are still overwhelming flaws.
The pressing is still hilarious, I mean I was playing a guy yesterday who was abusing all the glitches and the 71+ depth auto pressing.
I was playing my brains out, trying to play good football and managed to score 2 nice goals, he of course scored 1 silly goal where his striker who was probabaly at 100 depth wrestled the ball off my 93 Lizarazu and scored and then another where my gk threw the ball out too early and ofc his striker was further forward than any of my defenders who intercepted the ball and scored, to make it 2-2.
All throughout this, I knew what he was going to do, which was revert to the most toxic style that we all know, yes spamming sprint down the wings and looking for the cutback, but I was aware of this, so I just made sure to keep the ball in posession and try to play down the wings, because the press was silly, unrealistic.
he did manage to score again, with the other toxic style, yes, he had a striker with technical + and high agility and balance, so he started spamming controlled sprint with this player and whizzing his way through my whole defence. It was basically impossible to tackle this guy without relying on my AI to help me out.
It is like a game of rock paper scissors, where you have a split second to GUESS which direction he is going to turn before attempting a tackle. That is basically what happens when someone is charging at you with a player like this and spamming controlled sprint, you have to guess like rock, paper scissors.
I did manage to beat him 4-3 and what was hilarious, was that he still thinks he was the better player, but I told him to try not to abuse the worst aspects of the game. Hard when you have supposed "pros" advocating the use of these glitches though.
Still a long way to go to make this game truly enjoyable. I find myself putting down my controller and ending my sessions after 1 hour or less these days, true.
- @Izzy_FUT_Dubs No this game is total garbage. Delayed inputs, 'emphasized touches' making every touch feel horrible and heavy, and to top it off with a non-functioning attacking AI and stupid automatic offside traps by the defensive AI. This game is utterly broken, and you can't sweep that under the 'sometime maybe good, sometimes maybe bad' rug.

The pattern is obvious. We had some good games when the game went on sale for 15 euro. New players. Ah yes so the first weeks profits are back on track and WL and qualifications are less sweaty. Fodder is everywhere no dubs back to back.
But then players start leaving because the gameplay is horrible. And guess who is paying to keep the lights on. The core fans of this game. Who only play fifa and nothing else.
Back to back dubs....no good cards....expensive sbcs expensive packs with no good cards in them...dry you out to catch you when team of season hits so you get your dopamine fix and create hope the game is still fun.
It is not. Its toxic and we all know it. Each and everyone of us. And yet we keep playing.
F THIS GAME...They know excactly what they are doing and it shows.
I don't get good players
I’m still waiting for someone at ea to please explain why my players don’t run when I ask them to, why passing the ball just seems to go in directions I don’t ask, why when I win tackles the ball just constantly goes back to my opponent, why my ai players just stand still half the time, why player switching doesn’t work, would be nice if I could get some help from an ea employee to tell, me why this is happening
- @StuBoy1984 Did you ever post the video of it? This threads been going awhile so don’t remember but did you see ea went over all of noways videos. I know they said they can’t get to everyone but you would have a better chance if they see the video. Otherwise it’s just guessing what is happening to you.
But yeah they broke down 5 or 6 videos of noways in detail and explains what was happening in every instance. It was pretty informative.
fix the gameplay, so many bugs, hire competent people to fix or else stop selling this game and/or packs. thx
