In no other company would this behaviour be tolerated. The complete disdain towards us as customers genuinely boils my blood.

I saw a post earlier about the people in South Africa getting over 100 ping and “Darko” saying they can’t get back to all the posts. How can a company that makes millions upon millions have a few people on a forum as a way of moderating things? It’s beyond not good enough.

The fact I have to pick and choose when I play so I can get a reasonable connection just frustrates the life out of me. It’s not much to ask.

I’m in Canada. But I’ve had the same issues for years both here and in the UK. Their servers simply can’t handle it.

I’ve just played my last ever game. I’m both sad and relieved about it. Sad because this game should be really good, relieved because I’m not going to continue to participate and spend my time on something I care about more than the developers and community managers. This company does not care about you or your experience. This company is a pure money making machine designed to frustrate people of all ages into buying packs to improve their teams. If you’re a community mod reading this - just know that you’re complicit in it. 

I’m very fortunate that my brain doesn’t work in a way where it’s incentivised to gamble. But I feel bad for people that are wired that way through no fault of their own. I can’t imagine the misery this game must cause for people. It drains the life out of you. I was gone for two years and the issues are all the same. It’s a racket. For the people that work there that design it this way, they’re clearly just bad people. For the people who are against it internally and don’t speak up, you’re just as bad, if not worse, since you’ll have a conscience but you’re too scared to act on it.

The continued mistakes from TOTY Messi’s to people getting millions back for Sneijders and Toures. Every weekend being a sludge and sweat fest. The lack of power curve planning. The accounts on Twitter set up to incentivise people of all ages to open packs. The fact that the mods on here don’t even have the humanity within themselves to respond even if they don’t have an immediate answer. The gameplay, laser precision switches, the pass aiming that goes in different directions. The community who try and do well in Champs to improve their team - but do this by passing around the back and as such not actually taking enjoyment from the game and their team and defeating their own reason for playing. All of it. I’m done with all of it. I could be someone who spends money here and there on a pack or two, but I’m taking my money elsewhere. Life is short and I’m not spending my existence continuing in this designed cesspit.

Spend 475,000 coins or £20 or whatever for the "icon pack"

And get a base Icon rated over 88

And how many base icons of over 88 are worth anything close to 475,000? 4 or 5

I guarantee the vast, vast, vast, vast majority of suckers who buy this will get a player who is worth about 50,000 max.

It is literally a rip off.

It's like the TOWT provisions. Get three TOWT players ranked 80-84 for 140,000. Or just buy them from the transfer market for less money.

The one for me is the showdown SBC’s. I struggle to understand how that is not a gamble. If you need a team to win for something on your team to get better which you may have bought for money, I struggle to understand how that is not gambling. It’s not like you’re randomly allocated a showdown SBC player. You have to contribute in game for it. And if you’ve bought packs for that, then you’re effectively putting money in a position where you’re hoping for an outcome. Maybe this post will get me banned if the mods ever get round to seeing it - but I’d rather call it out than be a mod and be complicit in this. Some life.

With the Icon 88 pack you know the odds are 100% you will get an 88 Icon. The problem is the vast, vast, vast, vast majority of said icons are not worth the money the pack costs, meaning you are gambling with the smallest possible chance of winning which EA forgets to tell you

And remember how EA criticised the Belgians for "robbing players the optimum way to play the game", they literally admitted giving them money was the best way to play the game

I just played after a 2-day break and nothing will change my opinion that this game is the biggest crap in the history of sports games. Snieder 93, Matheus Icon cannot pass on the ground, there is no point in talking about advanced upper-passing actions.

These 2 so called "Champion" rank defending this game are either blind or from another planet.

They write that the broken gameplay is due to a bad connection. Let's imagine if in car simulations such as "Dirt" or "WRC" the car turned left when you wanted to turn right. The basic rules of football are broken here.

If I were a member of the family of one of the icons or heroes, I would probably go to court because my uncle or grandfather could not perform an ordinary accurate ball pass.

This game is just one big massive FU to anyone that bought it, only thing they have shown to care about is taking our money and delivering the worst product they can, it’s awful and no it’s not at my end when you have so many people complaint about the same thing

Played 3 games tonight, one was fine, lost, but it was fine. Then I had two others whi h were weird AF. My players, not only wouldn't pass again but they started doing silly animations which took them an age to get back in to the ball. Mostly running away from the ball allowing it to run past them, tackling about a second too late etc...its just become absurd.

My ping also went from 16 to 40 and back, but my connection rate, going by EQs own test, is still 99%.

I think we have to have the conversation that it’s not a poor connection but just poor game mechanics

The reason the gameplay is so bad as put simply as possible.

The “META”: How well you can manually switch, sprint like crazy to the ball, and spam circle, while sending a constant 2nd man press. Offensively, it’s how long you can turn in circles to fight off this press until a pass opens up. 

Couple this with random things that are out of your control like:

Where the ball bounces when you successfully execute a tackle or interception or keeper save 

How long your controlled player randomly decides to respond to a command given

If the action performed matches the command given (ie passing, shooting, tackling)

EA Sports. This is the problem with this game and has been the problem since Day 1. The META and deciding factors aren’t how well you dribble, pass, shoot, and manually defend. In a “competitive” game. 

I’m a Div. 3 player so I’m not elite, but I’m at least somewhat good. This meta makes the game miserable. You all are losing track on how to make this game enjoyable. Maybe you’re listening to wrong people or just not listening at all. Theres no real variety in the gameplay and how people play. You see a lot of the same “meta” cards. Most people play the game exactly the same. Build up exactly the same. Defend exactly the same. 

Just played the most idiotic toxic player of the decade, nae, century. Usimg every glitch in the book, only passed from side to side in their own half and rarely by the 18 yard area. Keeper walks out with the ball waiting to get tackled, but my players can't tackle, even at walking pace. There was no delay, just some idiot abusing every glitch for a nil nil draw. Obviously wanted me to rage quit, idiot wasn't getting the joy. Normally my players would swarm for tackles....Guess what? No one did, not could, didn't. And idiots think this is fun?

They need kicked out.

There's so many obvious bugs and problems with the game this year and I think we've all highlighted them relentlessly... but what gets me the most is the way this game manages to defy any form of logic at just about every turn. I've never owned another game like it

I'm an elite div and 16-18 WL win player and have been since the start of the game so i'm no slouch, but how have so many basic things managed to go wrong this year that were fine in previous years?

- Passing to a player and it just not bothering to switch to them

- Auto switching away from a player that's about to win a header, or chasing back with a player and as soon as you're about to make a tackle it auto switches you away from them

- LB and right stick switching somehow managing to go to the worst possible option no matter what you press

- Passes automatically being played to an offside player regardless of where you aim it

- Passes consistently skipping the player who's 5 yards away that you've aimed at, to try and play it to someone nowhere near where you've aimed

- 6ft4 99 strength players being unable to win defensive headers due to an attacker backing into them, even if that attacker is 5ft3 with 50 strength

- Random freezes where the game just completely ignores any user input

- Having to make a tackle 400 times to regain posession because any time someone Auto presses, their player just instantly rugby tackles your player when you make a tackle and keeps running

In the first couple of months this game had SO much potential, but instead of fixing a few things that were wrong (Like midfield congestion, auto pressing and AI defending being overpowered) they just decided to break everything else in the hope that people would get so frustrated they'd turn to store packs to see if better players would improve their gameplay. It's honestly incredible how badly they've managed the game this year

They don't care imo. They made their cash from the sales and from those who keep pumping money into the packs with their wallets in the hope of getting a top brass card.

This game will only deteriorate as time goes by, the fifa franchise is dead, I'm never buying this at full price ever. Its black Friday for me, then its only £30, also I never buy packs with real cash, only coins from the transfer market. This company will get f all from me in future at this rate.

i never spend cash on the game same as you, BUT i have used alot of time trying to figure this game out and i cant. Cause the game changing from half to half. cant understand anything about it. its only the rat mentalthy that is constant and works but il rather take losses that playing like that.   

Whats the use of winning if you not feel anything good about it
