Fix the gameplay

@sniperfox29 I've been complaining about the goalkeeping animations being bad and was told by an EA employee that issue was being looked at by the devs. I'm hoping they're able to fix it. I've been providing video evidence of bad goalkeeping animations, decisions, and positioning/diving with a detailed analysis on how they can improve/fix it.

I'm hoping they actually see what I've got to say about it and fix it. Idk if they will, but they're definitely aware on this issue now.

I've been blowing them up about the gameplay with lots of video evidence, so I'm hoping they are reviewing that footage.

I want what we all want; a working and fair game.

Question for the floor - Does anyone else feel like they have different gameplay across different gamemodes? I feel like i've just had a bit of a lightbulb moment.

I was playing Rivals earlier today and all of my players felt slow and sluggish, any type of fast passing just didn't work because the passes were so inaccurate and the auto press was just killing me instantly. Felt like my players were sprinting when i wasn't holding sprint but not sprinting when i was, taking heavy touches and taking a lifetime to move the ball... but then I've just played a draft and started moving the ball fludily and my players felt 1000x more responsive, passes more accurate, dribbling a lot smoother etc... And that's all with players that are significantly worse than the ones I have in my actual team

Carried on playing a few squad battles and now my players feel completely back to normal again. So the question is.... does anyone else feel there's a big difference across the different game modes? Champs normally feels a lot smoother than rivals for me. It'd be interesting for EA to investigate whether there are gameplay problems with certain game modes

@Cam3131Yes I've noticed the exact same thing. My connection score is 99, I have no lag or packet loss, average ping is around 15 MS. Yet gameplay is as bad as everyone else experiences here. Some game modes feel better than others and the quality changes between them. As in sometimes rivals is better than other modes for a while and then friendlies becomes better than the others, etc.

I also discovered a method to make gameplay good consistently in any game mode. I'm on PS5 and if you guys want to try my method I'll tell you what to do. I'm interested in knowing if you notice any improvements like I did.

1, In the PS5 Internet settings I changed the value of MTU from automatic to 1400.

2, Every time when I'm finished from playing an online match I close fc24 completely and launch it back again. You must exit fc24 and close the app after every match.

I was able to reach division one for the first time after doing this method and the gameplay has been much better, my players are more responsive to my input, they can sprint fast, tackle the opponent, and jockey accurately. For me this remedy improved the gameplay to almost being excellent. I'm curious to see if any of you will notice the same thing.

@Cam3131 I find rivals has become very lethargic for my players. Becomong too slow in important 1 on 1s, I've seen things like my players seemingly slow down with the ball, to what looks like letting the defender catch up? 

Squad battles I find very strange, World class for me is 10xs easier than professional level. But after a few games of SB the game play on that mode is considerably smoother for the bigger part.

WL games? I rarely play them due to some of the sweatfest that goes on by some players. The ones that I have played have all felt one-sided toward my opponents. Mega insane pressure etc. Its just not fun coming up against that almost every other game.

You see.... today is a great example of why I find this game so weird. The gameplay i've had today is probably the best and most resposive it's been since I bought the game. Why is it so different to what I was up against yesterday?! If the gameplay was like this every time you played then there would obviously still be things to complain about but nowhere near as many as there currently are

An absolutely terrifying joke and of course let s not exclude the most visible pay to win gameplay mechanism.

Pay to win combined with a broken AI has well and truly finished off the fifa series. This is genuinely the most disgusting game i've played in my life.

I'm a good player, i've been in the elite division every season and I get 16 wins minimum every weekend, I have a good team... and STILL 90% of teams I come up against are worth 100x what mine is. It's SO obvious who's earned their team and who's paid and it's SO obvious how different the gameplay is when you play against  them. Their AI is overpowered to the point it's like playing squad battles on ultimate while yours can't do anything, they'll foul you over and over and over and nothing gets given, and when you're on the ball your players start doing random, weird, glitchy nonsense that doesn't happen against people that haven't paid

I've played Fifa since 98 and i've never been more appalled at any game than this one. It's plain to see that EA are ruining the gameplay experience to try and push people towards the store to improve their team, thinking it will give them a better chance.

Every single person that worked on creating this game should be ashamed of themselves and should never be allowed to work on another video game again in their life

Before Tots you could still play, maybe it wasn't good, but it worked somehow. Now I've tried it at night, day and morning and it's a

Festival of Lags, Glitches and Bugs not an Football Festival.

I don't even want to start Fut champs - it's a waste of nerves.

Amateurs -  not IT Specialists. After nearly 9 months the game works worse and worse  every month - it's a shame for the company. But they dont care.

Besides, the servers were weak before Tots, they puted Tots on weak servers and now Euro 2024. They added a lot of new players, gameplay modes and everything runs on low-capacity servers.

These people have absolutely no imagination and professionalism. It's like putting 20 people into small Hatchback car + a camping trailer.
