Game showing red ping on the top of the screen every few seconds

Hello, i have a problem where when i play ea fc 24, i see a red ping indicator at the top of my screen every few seconds, what happens then is that the game freezes for a quick second, before resuming all the gameplay that was frozen in 10x speed, which i can confirm, makes the game unplayable at any sort of competitive level, now, i KNOW this is not an internet connection issue even though thats what the game is indicating, i play multiple other game titles on both my PS5 and PC where ping, and internet connection is the least of my concerns, i went out as far as to test the game on PC aswell, where as i expected, there were no issues inbound, id much rather play on the PS5 though, hence why im asking if anyones got some sort of solution that doesnt consist of checking your internet connection. Things ive tested:

Playing on Wi-Fi instead of ethernet, didnt fix it

restarting my router, didnt fix it

plugging ethernet in and out didnt fix it

clicking "check internet connection" on the ps5, didnt fix it
