Hi there @Newedg7
I am located in Manchester, United Kingdom. I am able to get a good internet speed of around 10ms ping, sometimes it goes to 20-30ms and the difference in playing is noticeable. When I play co-op with a friend also in UK we can sometimes get pings 30-40+
There are two things which I can recommend, one is to connect using the best internet service provider. There is a tool here which might help you.
And the second is to use ethernet/lan cables that are at least CAT 7 or 8, don't use wifi. I think the cables quality can affect it a little bit.
- 2 years ago@SumFiiin if its connection thing then why it affects things that don't depends on connection, 1000 ms = 1 second so if you are playing on 10 ms = 10/1000 second = 0.01 second delay also me 32 ms = 32/1000 second = 0.032 second.
this is not enough to delay my player 0.5 second from passing or shooting the ball
even if it is enough why FIFA and FC 24 are the only games that can't be played with > 10 ms why all the games can be played on 50 ms or even higher except FC 24 - 2 years ago@SumFiiin why they don't group players according to their latency + location that would be fair at least
in my country thousands of players plays FC 24 with same latency of me but I'm getting matched with player close to the server only- RadioShaqs2 years agoHero
It takes location into account when matchmaking. If you are getting locations farther away then the closest server isps don’t always take logical paths and often times take longer routes so save money. Ea did a few pitch notes explaining that you want more detail on it.
