Getting removed/disconnected/dnf after every ultimate team game.

I was grinding objectives with my friend last night. And now every time I try play a game at the end of it I am removed from ultimate team and given a loss. Is this some sort of soft ban, and how long do they last? I feel a bit cheated because I’ve specifically paid for early access and now I can’t even play a game.
