Having a hard time to play in rival

Before the update  I find an opponent and played my 7 games win.  After the recent update  in fc 24, I can't find an opponent in rival. 

I'm in elite division.  I'm on ps5. 

It is not just me  I have 5 friends who live in the same city I live in.  I live in Oregon USA.  

I have off for approximately locations.  I have yes for cross play.  I don't know what else I  do.  

Is there a way  I can get back the previous one before the recent one? 

I would really appreciate it if any advice here. 

I forgot to mention that I delete the entire game and I reinstall it.  And still the same I can't find an opponent.

    Iam not a part of the Ea team but iam an Og player, here is some things you can try:

    1. Go to ur menu ( right corner)

    2. Click on youre "nick" and then on youre Ea account

    3. Go to "about me"

    4. Click on regional settings and change region you want to connect to and who got the best servers, i recommend Germeny, Italy, England or France, but you can try anyone, choose the region that is nearest you

    5. Enter game and the turn off matchmaking to nearest opponents,

    6. In youre case i would turn on crossplay also

    You can also delete the game and rebuild youre databas in some cases this works, dont forget to download the latest updates to, i recommend you try the other option first 🙂

    Now you should be able to play some football mate, good luck and have a nice evening 🙂👍

    Hi mate you won't find any opponents because there all hovering in lower divisions ruining the experience for everyone else. Just so they can have easy matches and easy friendly matchmaking 

    What are EA doing ?????

    That's true. They destroy people and flaunt their big teams. It destroys the experience for those of us playing to progress because you know you won't pack those caliber of players to compete, so you just take the beating and move on. It's very demoralizing.

    @bobbydazzla82 It is a joke! You see I don't want to stay in lower division because it is cheap to go after low or bad team. These players should quit the game. Ea needs to fix it.

    I can't believe that in November and I can't find an opponent to play against! The games just got released.

    Too true mate. I can't move forward from Div 7 because the top tier players are lounging around d for easy wins for evos and objectives.

    EA need to sort this unfair disadvantage by start checking what's going on and penalise those who are basically cheating.

    @zaney-s I hope they will do something. I can't find opponents to do the objective. Just because I'm in div elite. It is not my fault. I hate to do squad battle games

    @zaney-s No Elite player is in Division 7. If you can't get out, I would recommend you try out a different formation, try out different players, or try out different tactics!

    @Dragon_aljanaby There is definitely an issue with Elite Division players not playing the game (Rivals).

    The issue is they don't want to sweat for their rewards. The funny thing is, every division has its sweat-fest within each division. I understand the want to have easier opponents, but so does everyone else.

    When Elite Division players are relegating themselves to lower divisions, they are ruining the integrity of the game. If those divisions get "too sweaty" then the native division players will feel like relegating too. This will continue until Div 8/9 players are in Div 10 and then Div 10 players can't relegate to anything lower than what they were.

    EA has thus tried to prevent players from relegating on purpose by not allowing players to relegate. The issue then is players avoiding promotions so they can continue to reign in the lower divisions and or just not playing Rivals at all.

    A lot of times I'll hear these same players say things like WL is more fun than Rivals -- yeah because the MMR is not the same as Rivals. XD Easier games are definitely more fun! Lol

    But then this type of thinking messes up people who just want to play the game throughout the week, not just the weekend.
