How to get pre-order content from steam

I pre-ordered this game since I wanted to play it. I had a hard time starting the game since they took away compatibility with the controller I used for fc 24, so I needed to get a new controller. On top of that when I finally open the game after the many bugs and my computer is finally ok with the spaghetti code these EA folks put together, I see that I am supposed to have a bunch of bonus stuff that I got by preordering it. I got nothing. I didnt get FC points, I just transfered 500 from fc24 but not any more were given. My ultimite team got nothing. Clubs has the same number of playstyle slots. So I was wondering, is this just some scam, a lesson not to trust sneaky small time game designers with your money? Or is this one of the countless bugs with this game. Is this just some money laundering scheme,  are there even developers at this company or do they just buy people's work? I have so many many questions but can you people atleast explain how I get my pre-order content since I look this up here and there is nothing. I actually was begining to type this and was sent to a Star Wars game pre order with the same problem ironicaly.
