I CAN'T GET A RIVALS GAME!

I'm curious if this is a large scale problem or not. Whenever I load in to play rivals I get to the kit selection screen and it counts down to below 10 seconds and I get a message saying my opponent left the match. It is incredibly random, sometimes I will get a match after a few tries and other times I will search for 20-45 minutes and nothing. I literally cannot play a game of rivals some days which is super frustrating. My friends have the same problem and we have even had this problem last Fifa.

    Unfortunately I think a large % of the community has given up playing rivals because of A) how bad the gameplay is and B) how toxic everyone is in-game. In previous years, even before cross-play became a thing it used to take about 5 seconds to connect to a game of rivals at any time on any day.

    Now with cross-play enabled (Which should mean a significantly larger pool of players to choose from) I can go 20-30 mins inbetween finding someone to play even at peak times. I can't really see the situation improving to be honest, the rewards just aren't worth the grind & suffering through the poor, inconsistent gameplay

    @Cam3131I do not think that is the reason you wait 20 min for an opponent in rivals. It never takes me more than 10 sec to find an opponent in rivals even with the crossplay turned off.

    Can only speak about what i've discussed with other people I know who play the game and also what I see on social media. I've seen a lot of people this year talking about how they're not bothering with Rivals anymore because it's not worth it. I play on 16-18 ping so I have absolutely no issue with my connection, never have a problem connecting in fut champs... but it's noticeable how much longer it takes to connect to a game of rivals recently. It wasn't like that when the game first came out

    Correct.

    Because higher div players are lingering around in lower divisions people are tapping out.

    Which results in Divisions being out of balance skillwise. So the game is dead because people want better rewards. But better rewards result in better players which would kill the game eniterly since great packs and lots of fodder is and endgame theme.

    I stopped carring about rivals to be honest. Way too much weird stuff going on .

    Players not being responsive.

    Passes not making your player even if you have a clear passing lane

    Midfield still overcrowded (Which causes the pinball effect and you have the ball franticly bouncing from player to player almost out of control)

    Goalkeepers moving out of the way when double tapping triangle

    Not to mention the weird menu

    Packs filled with 83 only or 84 cards( You do pack some great cards every now and then but if you want to finish a SBC you are forced to buy packs) which is why players see EA as a moneygrab company

    i could go on some more but what is the use.

    Delete game before WL and download again if you want a bit of better gameplay it has helped a bit for me.

    But nonetheless rarely enjoy playing these days
