Laurent Blanc or Interceptor+ 2nd Chance Glitch

Disclaimer: I'm unsure if this is a Laurent Blanc glitch or an Interceptor+ glitch in general.

In my past few games I noticed that my Laurent Blanc never attempts 2nd chance headers. If the ball finds any player and bounces up or over to Blanc, providing a chance to clear the ball or score, he just stops dead, even if he's unmarked. It's led to me conceding a goal and missing an open net. This may be an Interceptor+ glitch but I haven't been able to replicate it with my trailblazers Marquinhos, I just haven't gotten into a situation where he gets a 2nd chance header. When it happens with Blanc, no inputs register with him, no left stick input, or button inputs, I can't even knock the ball to another player. This is happening on the digital version of FC24 on PS5.
