@Denisians I can't remember the name but there was a popular content creator who gave out some info on this fairly recently. He said the best thing he did to get him out of buying FC points was to equate the spend to other purchases in real life. For example;
Food shop
Night out
Takeaway
New car
Holiday
Just a few examples but he said its all too easy to just see words on a screen, click a few times and then the transaction is done. If you stop and think about what else you could get with that money then it's more likely to make you realise it's just not worth it. Even if you get the best players in the game from doing it, it's probably not going to make you enjoy the game any more and it also means you don't have anything to work towards once you have all the top players. Every year when we get to FUTTIES, most people give up playing ultimate team because there's nothing to work towards anymore
