New Icons (Ideas)
Hey guys, this is a topic a bit atypical from the rest of those that are here but I think it's worth a shot.
EA has a lot of potential to release and ask people for new icons even throughout the game, I think there are legends in this game that deserve icons/hero cards for what they did in football. So I am going to least some icons/heroes and if you guys have any other icons/heroes in mind, please comment down below. (I might forget a few players, so be nice)
- Franz Beckenbauer (Icon, he did a lot for football at the time, a really revolutionary player)
- Andrés Iniesta (Icon, world cup and Euro tournament winner amazing at his position and one of the best players in the Tiki Taka era in Barcelona.) I know he still plays but so did Essien when he got his first card.
- Eden Hazard (Hero, I only say here because what he did was wonderful but only for a few seasons and only on Premier league, but definetely one of the best primes I've see from a footballer)
- Gianluigi Buffon (Icon, not much to say about this one, one of the best GK in his generation and of all time)
- Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Icon, The Lion, The King... Mr. Zlatan himself. He put himself on this list, he's the one typing this right now, Legend)
- Arjen Robben (Icon, his former teammate is there, why won't this guy be there as well, a true legend)
- Gareth Bale (Icon/hero, I really don't know if he's worthy of an Icon, but I wouldn't mind if he got either a hero or an icon card)
- Mesut Özil (Icon, Real Madrid and Arsenal legend, this guy's control, first touch and vision was something else what a player)
- Nélson de Jesus Silva aka Dida (Icon/Hero, might be a controversial one but I really enjoyed to see this guy on goal, on of the best brazilian GK)
- Dani Alves (Icon, on of the best attacking rightbacks in the world, this guy was truly amazing on FC Barcelona and PSG)
Some honorable mentions, David Villa, George Weah, Jaap Stam, John Terry, Gerard Piqué
I am certain that I failed to mention some big players, but that's what I could remember and think it's worth of an Icon/Hero card.
PS: I didn't put Maradona as I think EA still has no rights of his image.
