Not awarded a win for 0-0 rage quits

My confusion is.. why does it matter if it was a rage quit or disconnection?
If it was a disconnection they still get a loss and have no way of re-joining so it makes no difference to them if the opponent gets the win. It has always confused me as to why this is the official line as to why you don't get a win when some-one rage quits. Which lets be honest happens a LOT more than connection issue these days.

@Penguin_Squishy Unfortunately, I can't tell you why that is. I too, don't agree with EA's reasoning. We have pushed this to the team on multiple occasions! I hope EA decides to listen to us and give us our win!
