Everybody gets the same pack luck, but it increases the less you play to lure you back in.
ive played regularly this version, but didn’t play for the last 2 years due to the game getting really bad. And im only playing this year because it was gifted to me.
but the first promo I opened packs was trailblazers, and packed Dias.
since then I’ve played daily, my son on the other hand gave up a month ago, but done a promo pack this time and packed icon Yashin GK.
the only people that have the better pack luck as it were are these promoters of the game, like pieface etc. if one of them gets a few good players out of some paid for packs, then his watchers will buy the same packs also to hope to pack something good. Which any down to earth person will no, it will not happen.
The game is designed to maximise profits, so giving the streamers great pack luck is a good business sense for others to follow suit….plain and simple

Agreed. But would you say the same about cigarette companies? They go to places where kids, vulnerable people etc giving out free cigarettes. We all know how addictive they can be. EA is no different handing out free packs leading to kids wanting more and finding any means possible to do it. IN SHORT EA’s IS DAMAGING KIDS and we are letting them do it !! I know here in the U.K parents are calling for a ban on loot boxes. At the very least get them classed as gambling meaning anyone under the age of 21 would not be able to legally buy them.
- @Nalchic Agreed, but its how EA try to make money that I find appaling. They release a tripleA title, thats barely playable, and push packs like it was no tomorrow. I know its volunteerly to buy those packs, but if you’re an addict, you will buy. Its like saying to a full blown alcoholic to stop drinking, they wont…and EA knows.
At start the game was very bad but now i like it, last update was really good but i m ok at start the game was horrible.
Problems now are:
-Pay for win is real with real pack addiction, they give us so many rewards packs with nothing good tradeable inside + some good fodders
to many people bought fifa point, like 300€+ only for 93 mbappe and they said a good investment LOL
I already did 93 sbc Mbappe and Eusebio, it cost me a lot of time + 1.2M credits and maybe 120€ since the start of the game, it's too much but i can spend 100€ on a game cause i m 38 and i have a good job...
BUT its not the same for kids you spent all his christmas money on this * for not a single good card. It's really too expensive and chances to get a good card are so bad!
Pack luck:
-There is clearly a script on the rewards and sbc pack content.
My experience is too long, I packed a lot of big cards in rewards or sbc but never when i often play with my top tier team.
If i take a new account or an friend account make 16 on champs and packed totw mbappe or cruyff both tradeable, tried an sbc icon got pele, ferdinand.
So the account of my friend was lucky I took it like first account got a god team and now the luck is horrible. and that's just one of many examples
I don't really know how it works but what is certain is that teh content of the sbc and reward packs is determined by credits movements or playing time/number of connections
If you go back to the game after long break you can get lucky for sure.
- @Oldman_Sparky_YT Yep, couldnt agree more. As you said, the game is designed to maximise profit, nothing more. I do wonder though, if its only me, but you have to play a basiclly unplayable game to grind for untradeable packs, which is controlled by EA….rivals and champs is purely a sweatfest, no fun playing. SB is boring as hell, no fun playing. Offline modes, well, nuff said.. It seems to me that the only ‘fun’ mode EAs got, is the store. But than again, that is contradictory, because whats the point of playing a game thats barely playable, when the players you packed isnt working. A few years back, thinks it was 2020, I didn’t buy fifa until the Christmas sale. The amount of players(icons and promo players) I packed was absurd, all untradeable of course. This practise is also used by online casinos, first they give you some luck in hope you will spend more, and get you hooked. EAs predatory methods has to be stopped, Belgium and Netherland has banned lootboxes, and I hope more countries will follow.

Would be great if they could share their point of view as they must surely hear about players that need help because of addiction.
