Playing against bots
Second time now where i played against someone and there is no indication above the players head, just like it is when playing AI. Also they are playing like bots, doing things no human would ever do...

This has been a thing for many years now, and you can actually 'bypass' these AI hackers. The way to do it is that when you face an AI opponent, you pause the game, put it in fullscreen mode, and then tab out to the desktop for 10-15 seconds. This will kick the hacker, and you won't receive a loss. You can also take advantage of this method - if you score a goal and use this technique, you'll get a free win. On the other hand, if the AI scores and you can't catch up, you can do the same, as it will still kick the hacker, ensuring you don't receive a loss.
Got this happening to me right now in rivals. I was 1-0 down to the guy and then I scored twice, he got mad and started slding my players and got a red card, he paused it and the EA symbol appeared for ages and the game carried on but I was suddenly against bots
