Oh damn that actually makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the reply 🙂 But, like, why is that a justification?
(Sorry, this turned into a small rant and it's not at you !)
- "Hey players, if you craft 10 sbcs in ten minutes you get a 3 hour ban. if you craft 50 in an hour you get a 12 hour ban. and if you craft 100 in an hour you get a 24 hour ban. have fun."
- cheaters: "damn, looks like we'll have to limit how many we do as to not get a ban. Guess I'll get the algorithm to take a break at the right times to not get a ban."
- normal players who want to enjoy the goddamn game: "damn, looks like we'll have to limit how many we do as to not get a ban Guess I'll play a few matches to take a break at the right times to not be banned from enjoying the grind."
I love the grind. It's literally my favorite thing about the game. But being punished for enjoying the game is utterly bonkers to me and I don't get why I have to step on eggshells because some people cheat. There's bound to be thousands, THOUSANDS of people who are getting softbanned right now and they're just normal people who want to enjoy their weekend off.
- @Cimatoa726 It would be nice if people didn’t cheat but not sure they will ever stop. We have soft bans on game limits and the market too. They eventually had to add limits to friendlies just so people didn’t do them to fast.
If people can’t slow down I assume they will limit sbcs in a similar fashion. They could only allow you maybe 5 a day that should help people who do them to fast. Yeah but then you have a different issue as they would have entirely removed the grind. Why would anybody want a 5 sbc daily limit (unless it's like a 85+).
There's also exchanges etc that are infinite. What if i exchanged 25 85+ in 30 minutes and got a ban? Your solution of putting a 5 daily limit would mean I'd have a bunch of 85+ dupes and wouldn't be able to open packs. Which is exactly what's happened to me now. I have dupes in my store, but I can't exchange them, and therefore can't open more packs. I could understand them putting a soft ban on certain sbcs if people are doing too many too quickly, but banning all of them is genuinely idiotic.
What would your solution be? And have you experience any soft bans?

I personally would prefer less sbcs. The menu grind is to much anyway. Yeah we're two different people then, I love the menu grind XD
I don't want to do them slowly, that's the thing. I have a day off today and was looking forward to grinding out hundreds of sbcs over 8 hours or so (yes, a bit sad, but I do genuinely enjoy it so it is what it is). Now I've had to resort to YouTube shorts and replying to this thread. Which honestly may be sadder than grinding the menu in a fifa game lol.

Yeah I get that. I'll probably get there too, I just don't see their reasoning with softbans. I wouldn't actually be surprised if their reasoning was to simply stop people from opening packs.They are, after all, a money grabbing company and they want people to spend money rather get grind free sbcs. Why else would they ban people who clearly aren't bots?
Anyway. Sorry for the rant mate. It's just frustrating. I've genuinely been looking forward to grinding today and it's been ripped away from me really quickly. Just kills my excitement.

If that’s the case just limit sbcs and then people wouldn’t get upset at being banned. This would force people into the store. Right now you can do sbcs 24/7 just not as fast as bots. - @RadioShaqs Dude I did 23 in 35 minutes? How's that as fast as a bot? I was just throwing away my dupe golds in to two player packs. That's it.
But you're right that if they actively limited it and removed the ban then I wouldn't be annoyed right now. It's literally just because they banned someone for playing their game that I've no got a headache at their incompetence as gaming company.
Anyway, I've enjoyed this but now I'm just ranting and I know it's not going to go anywhere because whoever is in charge of this has their reasoning and they'll not change their mind no matter how many complaints they get. So, I'm just going to bow out - grab a cup of tea - return to YouTube - and wait until TOMORROW before I can play a game run by people who don't care for me at all. And during a damn Futties event too - which I've been stoked for - they've banned me twice in two days for playing the game.
But again, for one final stab at them: Why. Ban. All. SBCS? Why ban exchanges? Why ban sbcs that are already limited? Why a full ban when the problem is the repeatable packs? What's the logic? They're just alienating people and it's moronic.
Idiots.
Sorry for the rant. Truly. Enjoy your weekend bud I’m able to complete sbcs fast so if I do 10 in 10 mins will I still be softbanned?
