Red Evo on Road to the final

Question

So I packed rttf Gvardiol and I used the red fut champs evolution on him. Afterwards, the "additional information" page for the upgrades on road to the final cards no longer appears on him. Is this intentional? Would he no longer get upgraded if Manchester City reach the requirements because I evolved him?

Recently, I saw on twitter, Fantasy werner card put into Red champ evo got upgraded from 89 to 90.

Hello,What happened to your Gvardiol&nbsp;? did he upgrade?Have you had any answers from EA?I put my David Neres in this red evolution and im hoping he can still upgrade.
