Recently the squad battles AI play like they are on steroids. Their shield and control is second to none from bronze to top cards especially in the box any form of tackle or attempt to get the ball is a pen. My players control is none existent. Tackling is at the worst this year, The ball keeps bouncing to them in various ways. I don’t know what the last update entails but this needs to be fixed. They play like it’s on competitive mode. Stronger , faster with more control no matter the player. It’s sickening. Please fix I can’t seem to enjoy that mode at the moment it’s to toxic.

@Victoreni1 It's genuinely insane how heavily weighted SBs are towards the AI even if you play as low as professional difficulty. I play on World class, I could play higher but the gameplay is so unbearable that it just kills any kind of funIt's absolute madness that they can trip, grab and clean you out every time you touch it and you'll never get a freekick but if you brush past one of their players it's an instant freekick. The way even a bronze player can keep hold of the ball in physically impossible situations etc... it's just not rightMe thinks this is part of the wider issue with auto defending that the majority of people use in the higher divisions. The AI is allowed to do things that user controlled players can't do and it creates an unfair balance

It’s not about it getting harder. It’s what the AI does after the last patch( 2 weeks ago). I have been playing legendary for years. This time you are handicapped. Aerial battles , tackling, duels are not in your favour and they react faster ( even bronze players ) tackle and shield more. Bronze character shielding konate MYM and konate falls

@Cam3131 Exactly I play on legendary and my thumbs hurt from the battle they put up. Your reactions slower, movement heavier, ref calls always in their favor. I got slammed in the box no pk while they get penalty everytime you shield agains them in the box and they trip. They now play on steroids

@Oldman_Sparky_YT Yeah i get that, they've done that for years but its just concerning how ridiculously overpowered the AI is at times. Like there's been a few times where i've dropped the difficulty down to professional or semi pro for objectives and i win easily, i'm a pretty decent player... but I just play it thinking I feel sorry for people who might not be quite as good. Ridiculous that the AI can do things a user physically can't do

I know it’s been crazy, and I’ve had a team of 96 on world class on full press making it super hard to play against. And I think because the cards are just so much better, it makes the AI so much better also.

I tend to play a lot of games on legendary if under an 85 rated team and world class if over 86. But they are all a battle
and for some reason I’ve noticed recently. The AI has to score. I’ve even had 6 mins injury time when there should be 1 minute just for them to score a dodgy goal

@Oldman_Sparky_YT I played near enough every game in squad battles on legendary last year but i gave up this year quite early when even the games against bronze teams were just 90 minutes of the opposition holding posession in their own half. I'd still win 6-0 but its just so boring to play

@Victoreni1 @Cam3131 @Oldman_Sparky_YT I've only been able to keep myself playing at world class level due to the insanity of what is meant to be semi pro and professional both feeling like legendary at times 😆
The AI is criminally OP and often kills the fun of doing sbcs this way.
Like Cam says, you can win the games, but it becomes tedious.

Exactly my point basically is everything became wore 2 weeks ago. It was still playable but now ball bounces in various was, you have to tackle them three to fours times because tackling doesn’t work on them and your player looses balance after being touched by their player no matter how small. They react faster and they are faster also control the ball so well it seems you are playing on competitor mode on steroids. It’s crazy it wasn’t like this 2weeks ago.

@Victoreni1 Its not weird squadbattles got harder. Moreplayers because of the season rewards. You can get great players like haaland etc etc by just playing the game a lot! So it wont be a walk in the park to get xp points.
