I'm quite enjoying it so far tbf and I'm not just saying that to be controversial. I haven't won many games, but I've had some good close quality matches on rivals, maybe I've got lucky and mainly gone up against similar standard players but I haven't been whooped many times.
As for gameplay I'd say passing has been hit and miss which I think is ok, not every pass can be perfect, but I've been able to play some brilliant cross pitch balls or quick short passes as for pace I wouldn't say slow people are always out running me or catching me up. Idk I'm enjoying it anyways.
Had some comical moments which have made me go damn EA how you managed to mess that one up or go typical EA but I'm liking it so far but expect it all to change again within a week as I enjoyed release gameplay last year then it suddenly reverted back to FIFA 22
