Unable to play division rivals, cannot go beyond kit selection screen.PS4, India

Bought the game last week and I'm facing the issue ever since, tried reinstalling the game, made a whole new squad but the issue persists .


No issue with squad battles , in friendlies I face the same issue but I do find a match after 5/6 searches , but in rivals I couldn't find a match for an hour today with the game giving me the same error.

@Anirudh65Squad battle is offline mode where rivals/champs is online mode.

try below options and see if this works for you
1. Check if you have active PSN or not.
2. Make sure you are using LAN cable for Internet connection.
3. Also, try disabling cross play (until your issue gets sorted)
4. Make sure Approximate Location Matchmaking is ON.

    1) PSN is active
    2) Connected using LAN already
    3) I've disabled both cross play and Approximate Location
    Matchmaking already


    The error pops up mostly at the 20 second mark on the counter

      @Anirudh65 If you are new user and in low division there might be chance of less users available at this time. May be give a try later in the evening/night.

      You never get into rivals game? or this issue happens all the time since you bought this game?

        @sanket_360 I found a match in friendlies in first try just now , but I haven't found one in rivals for almost 2 hrs now , it's something with just rivals .

        I'm having the error show up more and more in the past couple of days , yesterday I was finding 1-2 division rival games after and hour or more of searching , today I can't find one even after searching an hour in Rivals
