UT transfer market filters disabled

Hello everyone, apologies if this is old news, but I had this issue on PS4 and am experiencing it as well on PS5. Simply put, the search filters for league, country, etc are disabled and greyed out, while searching the transfer market for stadiums, kits, badges, etc. Which makes one have to scroll through hundreds of pages to purchase something and most of the time not finding what you're looking for.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Is it due to the game being old and not really supported anymore? But if so, why disable the features at all?

Context: I'm Elite in UT and have amassed quite a few hours of playing time, I don't think the transfer market access issue applies here. I can access the transfer market just fine and have bought many things before. I simply cannot search for kits, stadiums etc based on league and country, etc. Those filters are greyed out.
