It’s only cheating if it isn’t in the game…..it’s more bending the rules to achieve what you want, it’s in the game, EA have allowed this, so it’s not the persons fault who doing it.
now if it was people using Zens or scripts to change the game, then yes I would say EA needs to fix this.
but coming from myself, I enjoy the game and play for free, but hate FUT rivals. So I have a pretty good squad, and I’m probably above average player, although I’m old I was once a very good player. Because of this I sit at max div 7 in rivals, due to only playing rivals for a challenge. And I think I’ve lost 3 games out of 25 ish.
am I a cheat also? Or am I just casually playing to kill time….btw I don’t play rivals for my own mental health because of how bad the game is online
If youve only lost 3 out of 25 then you'd be higher than div 7 given the amount of checkpoints and the fact thet of you win more than 2 games on the trot you move x2 checkpoints at a time.
So you're either cheating or pinnochio

Don't you get relegated a few leagues down at the end of each season?
I'm probably in the same boat as the guy and also in div7.. not through trying to lose to stay there but more due to not playing enough to really get promoted much.

I totally understand who stuck in minor divisions, rivals is tryhard and boring af, i only play for the 7 wins, usually sunday when FUT Champions is still the focus. I'm an average player but i have a great team (Pele, Garrincha, Di Natale, Salah POTM, IF VVD...) and i know i could be at least in div 3 or 2 (the first season, when i played rivals the most, i have finished in div3), but i keep facing sweaty players and progress is slow even in div 6 or 5. If someone is losing or quitting games deliberately to stay in lower divisions, that's one thing, but EA can't force people to play Rivals.
