Disconnecting From Opponent During Match

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? oppenents are doing it
What happens when the bug occurs? u lose the game even if u are 0-0 or 1-0 up winning u just lose
What should be happening instead? if someone leaves the game i should get rewarded the win or atleast a chance to play esspecially if im winning or if its 0-0

i just did a my first draft and the oppenent disconnected at the start of the game and i got a loss and lost the draft in the first round

this happened to me 4 times how should i play the game thats minus 1.200 points foooooooorr noooothing

I get this message every time I play FC 25 (you lost your connection to your opponent we'll check the match report to see who won and who lost)

My internet connection is good

Who can I solve this issue??

In around 99 percent of online games I get an error with the message 'lost connection to opponent' as soon as I skip the intro cutscene. I can tell when it's going to happen because myself and my opponent have arsenal badges and kits. My pc is more than capable of running the game, I have tried power cycling all of my equipment, I have cleared the cache I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game. It's not down to my internet connection either. I have no idea what else to do

We should go through some troubleshooting. It's possible this is connection related. Are you playing over a wired or wireless connection? Thanks!

Not trying to be annoying but it clearly is not a connection problem, but a server / EA problem. On top of all the threads in the forum with the same problem (not only PC, but ps5 & xbox aswell), 4 friends of me all have this problem aswell. All of us playing with ethernet connection while being online in discord. nobody cuts out, we even tried to all watch the same stream and see if the stream hangs up for the one "disconnecting" and it does not.

Can you switch to a wire or is your router too far away? Lag and disconnects are going to be far more common with a wireless connection.

@EA_Aljo  I already tried to switch to a wire connection and it didn't work

Make sure you power cycle with these steps after switching to a wire: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. 

If that doesn't help, let me know when exactly you're disconnecting. Is it mid-match or when a game completes?
