I suppose to see the offered substitution and and make the change if I want while holding the R2 R2 For quick substitution again controller button working properly but no response when the R2 icon appears.(It was also buggy in FC24 I customize controls and change R2 an L2 in FC24 I get to the quick substitute with L2 but my changes and customization was fine during game play.)

Happened to me, I went into custom controls and switched from classic to alternate then switched it back to classic now I don't have the R2 problem. If all else fails give this a try lads. Cheers

I found how to get it right boys, go reset all the settings by default: game settings and controller settings and then do your settings again. for me its works thanks God.

I press R2 for sub during the game but it doesn’t work even the goalkeeper doesn’t move during FK, CK when I press R3.

@grittycool I haven't had any GK movement control issues. Are you sure you have R2 subs on in the game settings?

@Tofucollector Are you certain you're pressing the correct controls? For GK movement you want to press and hold down R3 whilst dragging it to the desired position.

I'll ask the other volunteers on PS if they're also experiencing issues with this!

@grittycool I was told by my fellow PS players it's an issue because of controller settings. Please look up the issue on YT to be able to fix it -- while EA investigates the issue!
