Simulation mode or custom sliders not working, locked at classic game speed

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unsure if it will happen for everyone, but the gamespeed feels like it's locked on fast/classic gameplay. Restart does not fix
What happens when the bug occurs? Simulation mode not working for me, the gamespeed is constantly fast even when I change the sliders or change it to custom. I feel like it's locked itself on classic gamespeed. It's currently making the game unplayable for me as I want to slow it down and use simulation mode
What should be happening instead? The gamespeed and mechanics should be reflective of the sliders that you choose

- Having this issue where I can edit the gamespeed on kick off or career mode but the pace of the game is still "classic" it doesnt slow down. If I change it to simulation mode or customize the sliders it won't work, it's like it's locked itself on the classic sliders and wont change.
