Great win vs Roma, and you're keeping yourself in a good position in the Champions League. Ajax playing Roma, that reminds me of a match I watched at the Stadio Olimpico back in 2003.
Ajax visited with a young squad of van der Vaart, van der Meyde, Zlatan, Chivu, Pienaar and Maxwell. Game ended 1-1, which meant that Ajax qualified for the knockouts from the 2nd group stage that was a part of the competition at the time.
We were on a school trip to Rome and were lucky to be able to watch the game. It was a memorable experience, especially with local police surrounding us on the way there and taking us to the away entrance (despite a lot of us wearing Roma colours). Apparently they thought we looked and sounded Dutch, so they suspected that we were Ajax fans trying to get entry among Italians to cause trouble. WTF? We were teenagers, and there were girls with us and all that.
Crazy experience. Also saw a Dutch person with an Ajax shirt covered in blood on the way to the stadium. I believe he'd been stabbed. An unforgettable experience, and I think a third of our group left at half time, because they didn't feel particularly safe there.

That's the game where Van der Meyde scored in the first minute, right? A lightning bolt from the left flank, after which he made his legendary shotgun-celebration... Fun fact: I was in the stadium too! I spent some months in Rome for studies in 2001 and my Roman friends invited me: I had my Ajax-shawl in the middle of Roma-fans, felt very safe actually (but I was among people I knew)
