Well done reaching the Europa League final mate. Even at the expense of two players sent off, serving a ban in the final. Having won the Cup Winners Cup in the 1960's, the UEFA Cup in the 1970's and 1980's, Spurs need to win this one and break their trophy curse.
By the way; kudos for keeping this up. Usually it was my thing keeping Career Mode Stories alive, whilst everyone else fell off during the spring season.

Halftime and it is goal less at the break Lazio will be thinking they deserve to be winning as they have had the better chances here so far. For reference Solanke has touched the ball once and that was when kicking off the game

Q: Robbie victory in the Europa league final how good dos this feel?
Keane: It feels so amazing I am so proud of the team. We were up against a very good Lazio team and I thought we really dug in and other then that early chance where they countered us I thought we played very well. Listen its a cup final there were a lot of nerves but the team handled them really well and I’m just so happy to bring some silverware back here.
Q: Many will say it wasn’t a classic with two very well organised sides, what did you make of the game as a spectacle?
Keane: I think the first half was a game that was very open maybe a little to open from our perspective but the second half both teams were a bit nervous and I think we saw the defensive quality of both sides and we really cancelled each other out.
Q: Dominic Solanke’s only touch of the ball today was kicking off in the first half what are your thoughts on that?
Keane: We offered him little to no service. He has shown when he has the service he ca score goals but today maybe he could have done more but eh 1 touch in the game but he’s currently got hold of the trophy so I’m sure he won’t be to bothered by that stat
Tottenham Hotspur are delighted to announce the signing of winger Rayan Cherki on a four year deal from Lyon for an undisclosed fee. The France under 21 international was linked with a move to Tottenham in January but a move never materialised but now the 21 year old winger has put pen to paper in North London.
Here is what our newst signing had to say
Cherki “I am really happy to be signing for Tottenham Hotspur, I believe this is a club heading in the right direction and is the right move to allow me to show what I can do in a tough league like the Premier League. I believe now is the right time for me to leave Lyon and try and prove myself with this top team. I am excited to play in the Champions league again with Tottenham and hope we can have a great season.”
Our manager added this
Keane “Rayan was a top target of ours from the moment I joined the team even before to be honest and when the club came to me and said they’ve agreed a deal I couldnt wait to speak to him about what we feel he can do for this club and I think after one conversation I knew it was a deal that had to happen. He is going to add creativity and goals and I believe he really is a player that will entertain.”
In more news Tottenham have confirmed that winger Manor Soloman has signed for Juventus for a fee in the region of £20,000,000 whilst defender Ashley Phillips and winger Yang Min Hyeok have joined Lens (1 year) and Fenerbahce (2 year) on loan.

Tottenham have completed their second signing of the summer with the acquisition of Serbia international striker Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus for an undisclosed fee on a 5 year contract. The big Serb has been linked with Tottenham previously and Robbie Keane has now got his man as Tottenham look to add goals to their attack as only 6 teams scored less then Tottenham since Keane came in with Tottenham having the joint best defence in that time.
Dusan said this on signing for Tottenham
Vlahovic “I am delighted to be signing for Tottenham Hotspur, to be able to play in the Premier League is what everybody dreams about when growing up and to play for a team that is fighting at the top of the table really excites me. Under Robbie Keane this is a team I have that has been growing at a rapid rate and when I got the call they were interested I was sure this was the right club for me. I can’t wait to get started and start scoring some goals.
Keane said this “So far this summer we have managed to secure our top 2 targets, Dusan is a world class player who we feel will fit into our style of play perfectly. It was important after speaking with Daniel Levy we executed our transfer plans swiftly and to have signed Dusan and Rayan (Cherki) we have 2 players who will take us to the next level. Dusan is a player who can score goals, he can hold the ball up and he can score from free kicks he is the perfect fit for our team.”
