Career mode won’t let me sell players?

I have had a handful of low rated players from my academy for multiple seasons that I have had up for transfers and they will NOT sell. I’ve negotiated no joke over triple digit times between the 3 of them. Sometimes the game even shows the animation of the guy with his packed bag leaving and I get excited like it finally happened, only for the notification screen to show no transfer took place. And then a day later “talks ended”. This was my last ditch effort to try and find some joy out of this game but can’t even get selling players in career mode right 🤦🏻‍♂️. Only doing this as a Hail Mary to see if they actually care enough to fix it (probably won’t). Don’t know how far out it is but I’m excited to see what 2K will have to offer, I hear their career modes are really well done too.
