Things seem to work again now.

I sometimes run into the same issue when there's a matter of cross-over sessions (logging in on laptop, sometimes simultaneously on phone, or on two or more browsers, creates conflict)

See @JustinCase0110 - Today, I had a case of not being signed in until now...
But, as you can see at the right top..., I actually was...

@Danimal5981 Yes, that was also the case for me. I suppose it just happens sometimes, but goes away again after a period of time as well. So it's perhaps not the biggest deal, but still a bit frustrating, if you have a short window to post something and the site won't allow you to do it. For reasons unknown.

This site is really set up to enable people to report bugs, raise connection and ultimate-type issues such as non-delivery of packages bought.
I don't think it was ever going to work as a fit for the career mode stories and I was wondering when issues such as image quantity limits would be hit.
I can only suggest you go on to the bug reports, find a couple of the EA moderators answering bug reports and then contact them directly with the issues.
However, the chances of anything being done about these issues are pretty remote, I would say.

Happy holidays, my fellow career mode story writers!...
Spend them with however you'd qualify happiness and health, as much as you can.

Merry Christmas to you as well! Or as we say in Denmark: Glædelig jul.

Happy Holidays everyone. Unexpected life changes (and a new unexpected baby) took me away from all video games the last few months.
How has FC25 career mode been? Has anyone tried the starting from a starting point yet? I’m curious about jumping back in and starting from todays date possibly.

Haven't done a jump-in yet, because I'm afraid it's only applicable to Premier League and for me the English league just isn't it. Although it's fun to see Amorim sinking even deeper with Man United than the ones before him: almost makes one think: Let me show them how it's done.
Stepping in at Milan now would be cool, if all teams were licensed there. Right now the only one I'd truly consider is Valencia: great club, two decades ago in the final of Champions League twice, now balancing on the edge of relegation.
But so far, career mode is fun - I like it that you need to keep a bit more of a keen eye on scouting, academy and transfers (instead of fully automatic) and when you set player growth and development below default, you actually get a realistic career where one really has to build for two or three seasons until one sees and feels the result of the investment.
- LABoog42 months agoNew Ace@Danimal5981 That is great to hear. I was thinking of LaLiga if possible for a jump in but if it is only for the Prem then I might have to rethink my team or idea. I’m currently redownloading FC25 now on a new PS5 so I could not check yet.
Thanks for the tips on player growth, I will have to look at that when starting. I’m used to old Fifas where you just play and lose focus on the youth because they develop on their own. - JustinCase01102 months agoSeasoned Veteran

I've tried a start in both England and Italy, not anything serious or long-lasting though. And I think it works quite well.

They don't work too fast putting in new live dates though. Last time I checked the most recent live starts was the 10th of December. Before then it was the 3rd of December, so I thought there would be a weekly "checkpoint" or something like that. But now it's been almost three weeks, so the idea of starting from the most recent game isn't really possible at the moment.

@JustinCase0110 Dec 9 is still the latest update. I’m going to start with my favorite German club Stuttgart so that is only two league games behind. That’s not bad.

Best wishes for 2025.
For the second part of the game's lifespan, I'm considering Valencia, or a lower team from Germany.
Outsider is 3. Liga team Energie Cottbus for personal reasons. As a little kid, when the family was drving between Amsterdam and Krakow, we usually pulled over at a (East-)German friend who ran a hotel near the town of Vetschau (between Berlin and the German-Polish border). That hotel is still a (little) sponsor of Energie Cottbus and the owner himself was a massive fan, taking on ceremonial roles for the club when he could. So that brings a bond and possibly a story angle for FC Energie. In the first decade of this century, they had two 3-year spells in the Bundesliga, so a return to topflight-story wouldn't be unrealistic at all.
- LABoog42 months agoNew Ace@Danimal5981 That would certainly be interesting, hearing the background information you can bring to a team like Energie Cottbus.

Just managed to delete all images used for threads of older games. Your limit is 500 pages / 2000 images: if you feel you need to create space, or just want to delete anything that nobody is reading anyway anymore, try this:
- click on REPLY
- click on INSERT / EDIT IMAGE
- click on FROM MY UPLOADED IMAGES
- right-click on one of the mini images displayed in the top-left
- select open in a new tab
Now, you end up on the page displayed on the image below. But here, you can select one image per time; in order to delete a next image, you would need to do all the steps over again.
But, just by going back to the menu above: IMAGES in PUBLIC (username)- you'll get an overview where you'll be able to delete whichever images you want, without constantly having to do steps over and over again.

Great find! I wonder if it goes by size or number of images. I was hoping images, that is went I went to the “sliding” image style so it uploads only one.

For me it was sorted by age (oldest one on top)

@Danimal5981 you've sometimes urged the game to implement a UEFA coefficient list or something, making it mean something that one wins, and you can rise in the table. Now, I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but I've noticed differences in the Danish teams in the season I've just started.
In the previous seasons I've had one Danish club in the first Qualifying Round (league 2nd place) and one club in the second Qualifying Round (league winner).
But in the new season I see that whilst FC København starts in the first Qualifying Round as runner-ups, league winners Brøndby have actually qualified automatically for the league phase in the Champions League.
Maybe this is just a coincidence, things sometimes being inaccurate because of the lack of teams from so many countries etc. But it could also mean that the game stores some kind of record of performances etc., and that it will actually affect the clubs from these nations in terms of qualification for UEFA tournaments etc.

Question for how transfers work in real life for clubs with another professional team. I’m looking at bringing players from Stuttgart II to Stuttgart.
From what I can find online, in real life they simply promote the player when he is ready.
Obviously in FIFA, they are different clubs and require a transfer fee. Are there any restrictions in real life? Like they can only promote during the transfer window or they have to pay a fee to bring a player up?
I am going to handle it like Major League Baseball teams in America do just for the sake of the fee for FIFA. In baseball, they “purchase” the contract of the player to move them up a team. Paying €400,000 to their lower league team in order to promote a player basically.

The game doesn't recognize them as two squads within the same organization. But that is essentially how it works in Europe. You belong to an organization, not to a team within the organization.
A "TRANSFER" is a change of football organization. Moving up from second to first team is an internal change within the same organization. It's like being promoted at a current employer.
In theory, a player can be moved between first and second team an unlimited amount of times. If there are any restrictions, they come from the national football association and they usually apply to moving players down from first back to second team. From the viewpoint of 'honest competition' teams with highly ranked second teams would be at an unfair advantage if they could suddenly add players from the first team at random -- it's not forbidden, but very restricted.

Thank you. That is what I was kind of thinking, much like baseball here in America where players can move up and down unlimited times. I could not find a clear answer online and since teams can be promoted, I was not sure if there was a different rule.
I will just have to make some fake fee for the game so the transfer budget is not out of line. I made two moves, both less than a million euros each so it is not a big move but when I have a small budget already, it does make a minor impact.
