I had no idea a new forum was being created. It will take a little bit to get used to this but I have figured out how to sort “stories” and to tag the board for notifications so that is helpful.
Hopefully everyone else is still here. I actually thought EA stories were down and planned a new career outside the top leagues for better game play.
I already posted my first continuation of my old story. I just hope the likes of JustinCase0110 and CO88LER5 are aware too.
I do see that other resolutions are being used here, so in order to get those screens posted sharper you'll need a larger image size 👍
Good point on the resolution. I am working on adjusting mine now before posting the start of my new story.
After you and I talked a few weeks ago about gameplay. I played Bayern, Leverkusen and Liverpool. The passing was unreal in the box. Then I tried playing in Belgium, Scotland and Denmark. The gameplay was so much better.
LABoog4funny that you mention it: my last match in my career story I had to interrupt somewhere in the first half (children).
Days later, I restarted the game and I noticed it went almost identical to the first attempt.
So as an experiment, I tried again and 20 over. I kid you not: every time the progress of the game was near identical - the AI allows me a quick opener and draws level during the first attack after 20:00. It wasn't until the 23rd attempt that the scenario went slightly different, that I decided to play out the game (3-1 win)
Not only do I think that accelaration and speed make attacking players OP against slow and sluggish defenders, I also think the game is scripted to a very large extent. It makes playing the big teams not fun at all, even when you yourself play a big team.
So, I'm playing the running season of Ajax until the end and after that I'll see what to do next: I'm tempted to play a 2nd or 3rd tier team in any of the leagues available.
Yes, I'm here as well. But I find it very hard to navigate. The story threads are no longer separated from other career mode threads, so I anticipate it will be much harder to keep track of the stories of others. And I can't find a way to skip to the most recent reply, like we used to just press the time of the latest reply and be guided to it. It takes forever to load it now with all posts being on one page. So I'm less than impressed with the new forum so far.
You can sort by "newest" reply. It is not as easy to read as the other way but it does help skip ahead to the newest.
When navigating the threads, I clicked on "stories" tag and it takes you to a page with only stories. I saved that page as my favorite then so whenever I come to EA, it goes straight to "stories only" page.

Yes, I noticed the "newest" option too, but then the posts are sorted in a backwards order. Once again EA has made a change that makes it worse. Haven't found this story tag, but that's a good shout. Will have to look into that, cause now it seems quite hard to keep track, to be honest.
