European tournaments are glitched - live start

I started a save with Chelsea on the latest start point. it starts, i think, 2 days before the Conference league final, with the EPL already wrapped up, with chelsea in 4th reflecting real life. this should mean that, irrespective of what happens in the conference league final, i should be in the champions league next season (i  went on to win the conference league).

however, for season 2, i have been put into the europa league. this is a mistake/bug. i know that winning the conference league does not grant access to next seasons champions league. the reason i should be in the champions league is because i finished 4th in the league. one of the attached files shows my league objective was to "finish in a champions league place" and it says that i did complete it. the other screenshot shows me being in the europa league. 

this is a bug. please fix it.
