@sonofthepitch I had previously posted that I have multiple saves, but I have refined my strategy to deal with this insanity. I have a primary save "Team-xxx S1" and a secondary "Team-xxx S1 Backup". Before every game I save the "Backup" file FIRST and the primary after. This is important because the system overwrites the most recent save. Annoying, but it works. Its also possible to use a "checkpoint" which is never overwritten, but because those aren't front & center in the save menu its easy to forget & when you need that save its many games down the line.
