Mixed batch of achievements regarding the Youth Academy. Going out first round would've been very disappointing especially after winning the previous. But making up for it by winning the next with some stand out performances too, maybe the future is bright for Brønby
Some good form and in good position in the table in 3rd place and looking strong lately, but it's very close so no room for too many skip ups. The defeat to Nordsjælland could be out down to struggles to the pitch (don't care what anyone says there is a difference) but also close rivals for that 3rd spot in the league.
A good win to finish off the current phase of the league before heading into the last 10 games against fellow top 6
Hopefully Vallys keeps setting up goals and Pentz keeps his spot at top.of the clean sheets table to ensure a good end.

I have a few good players in the academy, but also a few awful ones. My goalie has been exceptionally poor, sometimes letting shots go in obscure distances. He is now demanding to be promoted to the first team, and there's no way I'm doing that. I didn't really see it coming though, so now I'm in a hurry to find a new goalie for the academy and have sent out a scout to do so.
Yes, there is a difference between real grass pitches and the artificial ones. Perhaps not in the game per se, but it will always be something that one can hang their hat on, if they don't get the desired result. I'll play there again in the first of the final 10 games of the season. The other artificial ground is in Silkeborg, so I'll have to play there too.

I have a lot of bad ones as well, but have been keeping a larger number around just in case I get a influx of players wanting to be promoted so then I still have a squad for tournament. I did have 3 GKs just released 1 current ones are 16 so hopefully ok for a while and have a few 14/15 year olds. Unfortunately I lost a couple because end of season when it was simming it goes fairly fast and I missed emails from 2 youth players 1 I seriously wanted so my mistake on that one for letting it SIM too long without checking as it doesn't stop for the emails (heads up on that one)

He is truly a good Number #6 as we call it (defensive midfielder) - he would be the ideal successor for Jordan Henderson at Ajax, if you'd ask me...

Great start to the playoffs and continuing good recent defensive form and ending a bad streak in Farum. The fans will surely be feeling quite optimistic for the remainder of the Season .

That's also what we call it here in Denmark. A number 6 is per definition a holding midfielder. Only the English seem to have got the idea of deploying number 6 in the heart of defence 😉
Glad to learn he's in high regard. I thought it was a coup to get him on a free transfer this summer, but I just didn't know the magnitude of it, having no knowledge about the player beforehand. Sounds like he could be an asset for Brøndby, both here and in real life.

Thanks, yeah the start couldn't have gone much better. It was not going to continue that way though...

Shame the form couldn't continue against Købehavn, never a good day to lose to your rivals. Whilst the points are still there to play for 10 points gap may be considered steep at this stage, but also leaves something to build on

Yes, exactly. I really felt the fixtures lining up quickly here, and it became quite clear that my squad needs more depth to challenge the top 2 teams. I never wanted the league title already in the first season, but I do hope that results work out so I'll qualify for one of the European competitions. But that will only be more reason to address the depth issue.

Danish club football flying high, what an excellent performance by Midtjylland in Europa League!
Battle for 3rd between Brøndby and AGF. It's close...

Yes indeed. And the surprising part is that FC København is not the club to make it that far. They have - by far - been the Danish club to have held the highest standards in Europe, somehow finding a way to perform well against Manchester United or City or whatever in midweek, then going to Haderslev on the Sunday to play SønderjyskE. FC Midtjylland and Brøndby have so far failed to balance these things, often falling short in Europe despite providing an adequate competition for the Copenhagen club in the league from time to time.

Essentially a win and European football is in the bag, given the goal difference two draws would do it as well....
Never knew Aarhus GF had such a reputation as cup fighter.

To be honest, I was actually a bit surprised about AGF's cup record too. It does help them being one of the older clubs though. With FC København and FC Midtjylland both formed in the 1990's - and FC Nordsjælland in 2003 - older clubs like AGF, Vejle, AaB etc have had more years to make their mark.
