End of season it will become visible in my career too, but Denmark (as a country) is performing very decently in the UEFA Coefficient rankings with the current format. Don't know if it's more FC25 game or real life, but well done to such a modest country with all-in-all very modest clubs. I mean, Danish clubs never made it to a European final but lately (as a country) they are getting in the results and subsequent points.

I would definitely say it's an FC25 thing. As mentioned a few times in this save, Denmark apparently have 6 teams present in the UEFA competitions. I don't think that's very realistic, but perhaps the Danish clubs have just benefitted from the absence of numerous clubs in the game, making room for additional Danish clubs to take their place. Netherlands doesn't seem to have been given the same favour though.
In real life I think it's rare for Danish clubs to do anything worth mentioning in Europe. Except FC København, who have found the formula of being a dominant force domestically whilst also being able to adjust and be a 'tough to beat' underdog in European matches. Other Danish top sides have made it a habit to flop completely in European qualifiers, so even though Brøndby or FC Midtjylland can beat the Copenhagen side in the national tournaments, both are far off when it comes to the adjustment of playing in Europe with less ball possession etc.

Yes indeed. I'm very happy to see the old club win and provide the competition for the new club. And yes, I do enjoy this contrast too.
Another 1,000 coefficient point to the tally of Denmark. The new setup of European tournaments (the new format, but also the introduction of the European Conference League before that) have changed the dynamics a bit.
Once, a team scoring over 20,000 points would be seen as having had a good season, the real stand out seasons would give teams 30 or a bit over. Now, 30,000 is the absolute minimum. PSV bagged 35,500 with a spot in the quarter finals, while my team went out in the preliminary round of 16 in Europea League with only 13,000 points to show. Those reaching a Champions League final could be in the regions of 50,000 coefficient points, now!
Subsequently, a country's score also has to be taken differently: countries doing over 20,000 had a phenomenal season, double digits were considered good. Now, Netherlands scoring ca. 15,000 was underwhelming, disappointing. Denmark however, with a team less (lower dividing factor) and Türkiye did very well in my opening career season, especially given their ranking.
Some people just like to see games, I however follow these statistics with a keen eye.
@Danimal5981I think we understand the rules differently. I'll try to argue my case in the General Discussion forum, so it won't take too much space here.
Edit: Nevermind. I missed the part where additional points were added for every knockout round. That used to be there before, but I couldn't find it in the new rules, when I started a few months ago. But now I searched again and found it, so it seems my current interpretation has been wrong.
If a team would qualify automatically for Champions League and have a perfect season, it would be worth 54 coefficient points for a club (games + bonus). A team winning the Europa League with a perfect score would earn 40 points and a perfect campaign in Conference League is worth 32.
Those differences between tournaments are massively bigger than before (2018-2024) where perfect CL was worth only 39, EL 34 and ECL 32. No difference in reward for Conference League, but 15 more in Champions League (more games, higher bonus points)
And then a Danish team like Brøndby or Viborg would've gotten points in the qualifying rounds as well: Brøndby in this career would be shooting up the charts! (and Denmark along with it)
I think you're putting too much in. You don't carry points from the qualifiers. Only if you end up being eliminated there. Otherwise it's from the League Phase and onwards. There is a minimum of 2.500 points you get from qualifying to the Conference League though, even if you end up losing all your games. But those points won't be added to your existing points, if you for instance win one and draw one. Then you get the 3.000 points and that's it.
The 6000 for Group Q, I haven't seen that anywhere else. And you don't get 12.000, if you end up being number 8. Number 1 gets 12.000, and number 8 gets 10.250. The rest of top 8 gets something in between.
Aaaaah, I see: it's phased... So, one gets at least 6.000 and when ending at the top it could end at 12.000

Yeah I can't believe it. Especially since I'm also playing Champions League games with Brøndby in the parallel save. As well as international games with Denmark. And goals are flying in, both in the Champions League and in the international games. But with Viborg, somehow it often ends goalless or with just one goal scored in the match.
First defeat for København, in a way Brøndby has done you a favour even though they're surpassing you on goal difference.
