Viborg and København seem to make it a head-2-head to season, more than the contention between multiple teams it was, last couple of seasons; maybe them being of Champions League-level has something to do with it?...

Yeah maybe... It does look more like a two-horse race now, but there was also a point last season, where one was written off and suddenly returned with a good win streak. Still early days...

Surprising home defeat for the leaders København, there...

Still think it's ridiculous to see Denmark represented with 6 teams and Romania with 5 in Europe, while Netherlands ought to have 6 Romania and Denmark 4 each. The Dutch league also applies a play-off for that 6th European ticket for a decade now and it still has not been added to the game.
I think it's one of the game improvements they need to implement in order to have a realistic experience in CM: to introduce a country ranking by which the number of clubs active in Europe either go up or down.

I agree. But before that they should really add more teams in the "Rest of World" pool, until their full leagues are there. Red Star Belgrade and Slovan Bratislava from the current Champions League - NOT in FC25. Maccabi Tel Aviv, Ludogorets and RFS from the current Europa League - NOT in FC25. Pafos, Olimpija Ljubljana, Vikingur, Borac Banja Luka, Celje, Omonia, TSC, Mlada Boleslav, Noah, The New Saints, Dinamo Minsk, Larne and Petrocub Hincesti from the current Conference League - NOT in FC25.
In order to have a country coefficient ranking system and a realistic representation of clubs in Europe, more nations need to be represented, so Denmark doesn't "have to" send 6 teams, far more than they do in real life.
It's bonkers that they send more than Netherlands though, I very much agree with that.

It seems scoring is going a little easier than last year, something changed there?
One of the newer players is on a roll? Player development? Different tactics?

Filip Bundgaard is arguably on a roll. He arrived at the start of last season on a two year loan, so he was also a big part of last season. Only difference is that he found goals hard to find, at least in the first 3rd of the season, as far as I recall. Now he's scoring for fun, almost, making a strong case for various awards at the end of the season.
Midfielder Thomas Jørgensen has also stepped up his game, and Serginho on the right wing continues his great form from last season. There he was almost a one-man army, but I suppose he's just won himself a few collaborators this season.
Spoiler alert... Funny you say that scoring is easier now... I failed to score in my next two games (one of them in the UCL)...

Bummer! That's only your 2nd defeat with Viborg in 49 league games. Yet, if I would be so far into a season, I probably would've made it a personal goal to remain undefeated and it would irritate me at the end of the season to see that one single loss there.

shame about the defeat but in Frank we trust. Important to bounce back next game for sure!

In truth I'm a little ambivalent about this. If I played with a top team, let's say one of my numerous Man United-saves, or if I'd stayed with Brøndby or whatever, yeah sure, then I would have been frustrated that the undefeated campaign wouldn't come to pass.
However, playing with an underdog team as Viborg, keeping the game enjoyable and still somewhat realistic/believable is truly a balancing act. Of course I tried to win the Silkeborg-game, but once I'd lost it, I kind of enjoyed the fact that it wasn't this almost perfect season it was becoming. I think it's three league defeats though. This one vs Silkeborg, one vs FC København in the Championship Round last season, and one in the regular season vs FC Nordsjælland. But still an awesome take for this club.

Indeed! And the next one was a memorable one, for good and bad reasons. Had some trouble posting images earlier, will try again soon.
