3 goals a 2 assists in one game, that is the game of a lifetime for Thomas. The Europa League fixtures have a nice mix of teams you should beat based on their history and teams that will be challenging but give fans a fun day away.
Without seeing/remembering everyone that is in Europa. I think Chelsea would have to be one of the favorites to win it all.

Chelsea being in the competition really reduces every clubs chance of winning it. With the players, history and money. Looks like an early start with wins the the league stage will be key.
like the look of the new signings especially arp.

You'll struggle with Chelsea, Betis, possibly Club Brugge - but the other five you can take on with fair chance. If you beat PAOK 7:2 on aggregate, than teams as FCSB, Malmö and Charleroi ought to be nine guaranteed points, Dynamo Kyiv and Young Boys are equal to your level, so those two plus Brugge are depending on your form of the day. I don't know which ones are at home or away (that does have a bit of influence), but you'll make top 24 for sure; if there's a positive result against Brugge, you could dream even bigger.

Yes, 3 goals 2 assists, a "full house" if one plays poker. He didn't really perform last season, so I only kept him as a backup to my narrator from the academy because first choice right winger Serginho was sold.
But he's kind of turned his form around and the right wing is his position to lose at the moment.

Yes, away games at Brugge and Betis will be difficult, whilst I shouldn't expect anything from hosting Chelsea either. So let's hope for a good start in Malmö and Kyiv.

First three are away from home. Then home vs FCSB, away vs Betis, last three at home. Placed the team logos in the top of the pic for the home games and in the bottom for away.
I agree that Chelsea, Betis and Brugge will be the toughest challenges, the two latter being away from home. I'm not sure any of the other are guaranteed points, and the 7-2 win vs PAOK was also heavily influenced by an early red card in the second leg. But I do think I have the quality to make it to the top 24. If one could win 4 points from the first two games, that would be a good start.

Holm is a great find. Good potential, real face, fits the bill, well scouted!
Season is going as planned: top 4 are heading towards championship round; a matter of time before København and Nordsjælland catch up (I think).

Thanks, in regards to Holm. He adds some depth to my midfield, where David Tavares has been one of the positive surprises so far this season. My current starters are Bogarde as the CDM, Tavares LCM and Coulibaly RCM/RAM. With Mbom, Jørgensen, Søndergaard, Thomsen and Vester as backups, as well as the young CB, Klausen, also being able to cover at CDM. I may have problems fitting them all in, though Thomsen is mostly covering at LB and Vester on the wing. Anyway, at least one midfielder could be playing his final season at the club.
Yes, FC København and FC Nordsjælland could make a way back in top 6. If that is the case, the Championship Round will be with the same 6 teams for the 3rd season running. Before that - whilst playing with Brøndby - it was Silkeborg in the top 6 in stead of Viborg. Currently struggling in the relegation zone.

As with me: third season, peak season, it seems.
It's magic when it happens, isn't it? You're on a good flight of form. Now that from experience you can rely on your defense, you can focus on making goals more efficiently and well... 8-0! Also, a hattrick from the Nygaard boy: brilliant.

Thanks, yeah that was a fun game. But also strange. My 7 year old son had just played in his own career - on semi pro as I recall - and while playing this match I was in real doubt whether his level of difficulty had somehow jumped into my career as well. But no, it was still Ultimate, though it really didn't feel that way.
It is my 3rd season at Viborg, yes, and my 5th in Denmark. And I also expect it to be the last with the end of the January window coming up IRL and a number of exciting live start ideas to choose from.

I'm also thinking into that direction, although I'm tempted to continue with my current career at least until 2030 (possibly 2032) but at a different club; I have a feeling otherwise it might become too easy, thus too unrealistic. Also, once one is at the top of a smaller league, the only real challenge is to be found in those handful of European games, so maybe it's time for a more permanent challenge.

Is that THE Wout Weghorst, I see (at AGF) ?

Ha, yes, I was wondering when you'd notice 😉
A surprising summer signing for the Aarhus side, but he's been on fire lately with 6 goals in 5 league games. I also had him on my Player of the Month shortlist, but in the end he fell short of Vinicius, who had 6 goals and 2 assists in the 3 league games of September.
There are AI transfers that I hate. For instance English players joining Athletic Club, who will only sign basque players in real life. But this one was an AI transfer I really liked. In real life they have an ageing striker in Patrick Mortensen, who is up there among the most scoring players in Superliga history. And now he's retired (in game), I like that they've found another ageing striker to replace him.

On route to the Top 8, I said before and I'll say it again...
