Gaaei is slowly getting up to speed now (at Ajax), even earned his first call up for Danish national team due to Bah being injured. I am vey in doubt whether or not to sell him: on one hand I want to give home grown product a chance, on the other he does provide speed and stamina on the right flank, while even without some basic technique he sometimes does produce a good cross or long shot at goal.

From one side I'm thinking: okay, it's only Viborg.
The other side is thinking: okay, it's only HJK as opponent. A team that is on par with Denmark's best shouldn't have any issue with the easiest of champions (in the game) together with the one from Ireland.
Nevertheless, you'll go to the play-off round: it's either Champions League or Europa League. You could bump into serious opponents: the champions of either Croatia, Hungary, Czechia, Ukraine or Switzerland are all formidable teams.

Yes, it's not the most difficult draw. Thinking about you running into Rangers and Celtic, that's arguably a tougher route to the promised land.

Haha, I see why you say that. But no, that was actually my own creative solution to a problem I found. You see, Brøndby and FC Midtjylland were going head to head in that Europa League qualifier. I couldn't really have that in my story, now could I?
So Brøndby won 1-0 against FC Midtjylland, actually, and storywise I just translated that to Brøndby beating Rapid Bucurest in stead, as they were one of the teams to lose their qualifier in the game. Meanwhile Celtic won 1-0 in their qualifier, so storywise they could be the ones to beat FC Midtjylland, even though it was actually Brøndby in game. A bit frustrating to have to do such a workaround, but I think I made it work in the end.
I had plenty of encounters between Danish and Scottish teams last season. But so far none in this one. At least not in the actual game.
