Re: Players on loan growth

One thing is the visibility of the growth. Another thing is the extent of growth for a loan player compared to one playing every game for you. I find that youth players (with a high potential) grow excessively whilst on loan, so you can really benefit from loaning them out compared to playing them yourself.

I had two players who were similar in age, overall rating, potential etc. One I kept and played in almost every match as a starter. Gained +2 overall rating in a season.

One was loaned out to another team. Gained +8 overall rating in a season.

One thing is that it feels like cheating loaning out a player to see them grow this rapidly. But another thing is that it kind of ruins the experience of building a winning team, if these player growths come too easily by making a few loan deals not having to manage training and assign them games yourself.
