Starting stats for Player Career

I created a player to start a Player Career but all of my technical stats have been set at 75... I'm playing at striker but I have 75 for defensive awareness, stand tackles and sliding tackles, as well as all of the GK stats! Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. This happens regardless of whether I choose Clean Slate, Custom or any of the other options.
