Anyone else find it really difficult to score headed goals in Career mode FC25?
I know there are others who also struggle to score from my twitter account but I'm hoping I can reach a lot more support for this issue on this forum.
Scoring from crosses or corners is a big part of football & it really shouldn't be so hard to do in this game.
Please can you guys who work for EA make note of this issue & look into it for us, thanks 👍
You aren't alone in this. I have 2 center backs that are 6'4" and 6'6" jumping and heading stat is high, and I have yet to make a headed goal. I'm in my 5th season and have played just about every single game of every season
P.S. I just had a thought as I responded here. Maybe you are supposed to time tapping the shoot button as the ball approaches your head, instead of tapping shoot when the ball is being delivered. I'll give it a shot and check back
Yes let me know how you get on, I don't think it will make much difference though as sure I tried that.
I'm currently playing FIFA 16 & the game is way better than FC25 in my opinion, you will score lots of headed goals if you try it, the game has high rewards for crossing the ball, unlike FC25.
Power header+ makes it far too easy though, the disparity between the value of playstyles and attributes like heading accuracy is ridiculous. I guess to make the playstyles stand out they had to decrease the importance of the main factors in older installments, and now certain players hardly look professional. And by the way, even green timed headers, of which I have plenty, usually come off with minimal power, making for easy saves.
Incredibly ridiculous you can't score goals from headers, they can't fix a simple mechanic. The game is impossible to enjoy, how is this supposed to imitate soccer, if the mechanics are **bleep**. Dribbling is useless, it helps the AI instead of providing you with an advantage. EA people you have zero knowledge about soccer, I'm sure most of y'all haven't even kicked a ball in your lifes. Listen to your community trash company.
