Women Career Mode - Feedback

1. Contract lengths: Please update the contract length‘s of all female players in CM. The number of contracts that run out after the first season is not only crazy high, it‘s also deviating from reality and hence, factually untrue (which is kind of odd for a simulation game). Check soccerdonna for the actual contract lengths. It’s the equivalent to transfermarkt. The information is out there. And it‘s simple to change it in-game.

2. CPU: CPU misses/refuses to renew contracts of dozens of players that will be out of contract at the end of a season. This leads to a situation in which some teams have not more than 18 players at the beginning of the new season, and we see a continuously growing pool of free agents who do not get signed for several seasons even though dozens of teams were in desperate need of reinforcements. And it‘s completely unrealistic that world class players do not find a new club for up to three (!) consecutive seasons.

Another example, Eintracht Frankfurts‘s women team started into the 25/26 season with only four (!!!) defenders. They had 8 in the previous season. When I started a CM with SGS Essen, I planned to sign Frankfurt’s S. Kleinherne. However, since I did not have enough money, I postponed this signing to the next season. But since they had only four defenders left, it was now impossible to sign her. Until now, CM is not fun at all, rather frustrating tbh.

Have you noticed when you have any communication with female players that they sometimes refer to the players as son or other male terms.

Also the other thing as well it highlights the difference in pay. For example a male 86 rated player gets a lot more than a female player.  As well as the pay a female player is valued a lot less as well.  I am manger of a female team and when I sign them I address the pay balance.

@SkaHero68 Concerning the first part, yes, the language has to be adjusted when referring to female players. For the second part, the values of female players had been specifically adjusted for EA FC 25 to account for real life values. This includes wages. So I am fine with that, since it mirrors reality which should be the ultimate goal of a simulation game.

  • @tzmori Don't care about the language, but they have to fix contracts indeed. Free agents are impossible to sign as they have insane wage demands and remain unemployed forever. Makes the mode unplayable in the long run, which is what career is for.

Also no goals count past a year so no idea about total goals made.

And the generated players look terrible, both male and female. Why not take the templates for the refs or mix up some real players' look. I completely disable youth team as i don't want those freaks in my team.
  • The CPU in both Manager and Player Career never renews any contracts.

Free Agents never get signed by any of the 5 leagues because of the wage bug. They ask for extremely high wages that make no sense. This is because the Rest of World Club's wages are broken. Every player from every single Rest of World Club are on ridiculous wages. This affects Free Agent negotiations.

You can swap any Rest of World Club with any Club from the 5 leagues when starting a Career and you'll see. For example, swap Real Madrid with Juventus. Juventus players will suddenly have normal wages being in one of the 5 leagues, scout Madrid and you'll see their players will be on extremely high wages being a Rest of World club.

These 2 bugs completely ruin Women's Career. I'm trying to do a Player Career in Germany and the #2 team Wolfsburg lost all their best players after Season 1 because no contracts get renewed. The #1 team Bayern will lose most of their best, and most of their roster after season 2 because of the same problem.

  • Hello, I started a career with the women of FC Bayern Munich. But what's strange is that I'm not taking part in the Champions League. Instead Hoffenheim & Frankfurt. And I don't have cup games either. I only have the Bundesliga games. I'm still in my first season and hope I can play the competitions in the second season. But I find that very strange

There are no domestic cups in Women's Career, they didn't add them. For Champions League, you have to manually edit the teams in the Champions League before starting the career. Good luck in your second season where a lot of CPU teams start losing most of their players, and those players get stuck as Free Agents because the modes been broken since the beta.

  • oh okay but  I did not notice the part when I had to manually edit the the teams before I started the career mode 🤔

Unfortunately this is not in the patch notes so it'll be another month of waiting before it's (hopefully) playable.
