Youth player wages are insanely high! 13-15 year olds joining on 10k a week rated 50-60? It’s fine if you’re doing a career mode in the prem and you have money to burn but when in league 2 doing a road to glory type save it’s ruined it. The best I’ve seen is like 3k but that’s still crazy for a 13 year old. I’m almost certain they only used to make like £500-£1000 an week until you gave them a new contract. Which was realistic, so why has it changed?!
Me too. I play in Denmark currently, and wages are between €5000-€15000 for my first team players. Youth players coming up are already on €5,800 and €6,000, if I remember correctly. And it's too much. It's not like I can't afford it per se, but they should just start lower than that. They really used to do that with €500 to €1000 a week.
Yup, this is messed up and they never want to leave if you’re at a relatively big club(no wonder) if you try to sell them to a club more suited to their standard.
