Address the Issue of Opponents Quitting in Tied Matches

Dear EA team,

I wanted to share feedback about a frustrating issue that many players, including myself, have been experiencing in Rivals. When a match is tied and the opponent quits, it feels like all the effort put into the game is completely wasted.

Here are the key problems:

1. No Rewards for Effort: If the opponent quits while the match is tied, the player who stays gets no reward, even if they were in a position to potentially win.

2. Loan Player Match Count Decreases: Loan players still lose a match count, even though the game ends prematurely.

3. Frustration for Players: This behavior undermines the competitive experience, as players can simply quit without any consequences.

This is especially noticeable in Rivals, where some players seem to quit matches they don’t take seriously or when they feel they can’t win. It’s frustrating to equalize a game or work hard for a potential victory, only to have the match end abruptly with no compensation.

I believe there needs to be a system in place to address this:

• Implement a fair reward system for players who stay in the game when opponents quit.

• Prevent loan players from losing match counts when games end unfairly.

• Introduce penalties for players who quit frequently, especially in tied matches.

This is an issue that affects the entire player base, and I hope EA will take it seriously. We all appreciate the updates and content, but the gameplay experience is just as important. Please consider addressing this in a future update to improve fairness and the overall enjoyment of the game.
