Can't redeem EAFC25 game code in PS5

I received EAFC25 code (PS5 version) as a gift and I cannot redeem it on PS5 redeem section

    Hi @BerkhofLIVE, Trying fully restarting your PS5 and checking for any console update. After try redeeming the code again.

    If this continues we may need to speak with Sony support, or whomever the code was purchased from.

     I am having the same issue, it only downloaded the PS4 version for me... and now it will not let me play at all.
