Cheating AI is Squad Battles

I can just about handle the blatant locking of my players in ball control animations that won't let them respond until the AI steals the ball from them, the AI tactics that break the patches of the game by allowing the midfield to drop deeper than they are allowed to for players, the constant boring keep ball it can employ with 0% pass or ball control error, etc.

But the most annoying part of the mode is the blatant referee bias. They let the AI get away with blatant fouls, or if they call them (unless it's a last man challenge) it's almost always a yellow at worst. I've repeatedly given away fouls without even touching the tackle button but the AI can swarm over my player and pull them over without the ref blowing up. The first time I slightly mistime a tackle often results in my player getting a red card while the AI can do exactly the same challenge and it not be called as a foul.

I hate this so much it is hard to find the words to convey it without resorting to expletives. I hate being cheated and your game cheats with disgusting frequency.
