Controller Reaction (PC+XBOX One controller)

Don't know if more players experience this problem but....

Ever since release the reaction of the controller+player is wonky as hell... at best.

I have 2 controllers which are several years old. 1 controller Is my main controller so it has been used extensively on FIFA 23+24 and AC: Valhalla and Mirage. The other controller though is just a backup for when I have visitors that use the 2nd controller when playing FIFA. It is hardly used and mainly I switch out the battery...

The trigger button of controller 1 has gone to *... it is sticky. Trying to replace it but cant really find a decent site where I can just order a trigger button....

 so I use controller 2 now.

The A button (passing) is responding poorly. And not only when playing a match but also when you play career with the coach responses or whatever. The A button is the worst...But most buttons are responding poorly. 

Sprinting issue. Several weeks ago players didn't seem to sprint AT ALL!!! then at times the ball just jumps very far away etc...  In general the controls seem wonky as hell... I play FIFA for over 20 years. I know it isn't me... I know my limitations as a FIFA/EA FC player.... I just wonder if the controller is broken or if the game is broken. As in... does the game respond poorly to controller input. Or... is it maybe the bluetooth that fails. 

Does anyone have similar issues??? Or am the only one hating the controller feedback??
