Defenders moving out of position
My defenders instead of going towards the ball, they move behind the attacker and it opens my entire defense. It feels like there's some kind of negative magnetic field.

What mode?
Also take a look at instructions and play with different defence depths and player mentalities.

I play seasons, I tried different tactics and I can tell you it doesn't make difference. It's not tactics, it's just that this game is rigged.
I play Seasons too. Are you playing a deep line?
Same for me changed defenders changed tactics still same problem either leave to big of a gap or stick to attackers it's inconsistent not sure why

ya same and i tried pretty much everything,
not mentioning the center back running away for the striker , leaving a huge gap in the center , i have to manualy replace him, so i let go of my cdm who stops coing back... fun huh
It got even worse after the patch, my players are alergic to the ball when deffending.
If this doesn't get fixed soon, I WANT A REFUND or I'm disliking everything related to this game and writing as many bad reviews as possible
- @skoales Happens to me too on Seasons. It's absolutely disgusting that we pay £90 for a game that messes up so much. Things have to change and no wonder it's THE LOWEST RATED FIFA/EA EVER!
When defending, instead of pressing the tackle button, try holding it for 2-3 seconds, that's what fixed defending from the front for me.
