EA Bots in FC25 FUT Champions and Rivals

do you really think EA care the game is a total joke from the start I dont know how are there out ppl who spend money on points when all this is going on

I wasn’t sure where to start. I’d always thought of myself as a decent player, but after my first post about the AI bot, I stopped playing FC 25 just two weeks later and even deleted the game. Then, one of my friends sent me a flyer about a tournament in LA, and I couldn’t resist. I reinstalled the game and started warming up for the competition.

A little background: I’ve been playing FIFA since FIFA 94 on IBM computers, so you can probably guess I’ve been at this for a while. When I talk about "handicap," I’m not making excuses it’s a real thing. Knowing that, I decided to join the tournament under one condition: before every match, I’d delete the save game data from the PS5 storage, and we’d both play using guest accounts.

Out of 50 players, all of them super skilled and competitive, I came in first. One guy with a FUT Champs record of 15-0 lost his second match 6-0 to someone who later got eliminated! (I still don’t know what algorithm determines player skills and AI difficulty, but whatever it is, it’s definitely not working as it’s supposed to. and some people know what to do to get around it I don't) For context, I’ve never gotten more than 10 wins in FUT Champs myself. I always hit some wall with the handicap system or ridiculous AI. Those 7-1 losses that feel impossible to avoid? Yeah, I’ve been there.

At the tournament, I met some great people, had fun conversations, and picked up two key tips for success in FUT:

1. Meta Players: If your players aren’t part of the meta, you’re at a huge disadvantage. The meta basically defines which players will actually work well in the game. You don’t have to spend 20 million coins to build a meta team. You can get something competitive for around 3 million coins or even just by doing SBCs. Sure, it’s pay-to-win to some degree, but smart SBC grinding can even things out.

2. Meta Tactics: Certain positions and formations are always overpowered. It feels like the developers rotate them intentionally, kind of like how Warzone rotates which weapons are OP. The trick is to figure out what’s working right now and use it. Players also become weak overtime, usually current promo players are better.

One tip from me: open up all your console’s ports. I put my PS5 in the DMZ on my router, and the difference in lag was huge. If you’re struggling with online performance, give it a shot it might change everything.

In the end, I’m just glad I figured out why the game felt unplayable before. It’s a shame you can’t just roll with the players you love like my favorite Argentina and kick * like fif13 and fifa14 I would win every single game with my gold team against legends it was all skill and handicap almost non existance cause AI wasn't this op. I can still field half my team with Argentine players, so it’s a win in my book.

In short summary: If you have an "S-tier" player, you can compete. But if you're stuck with a "B-tier" player, say goodbye to winning no matter how skilled you are or even if you're a world champion, the AI simply won’t let you succeed. Unless you are hacking.
